Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good evening, Christmas Family !!

It seems like forever since I have been able to post !! Been so busy trying to teach Hermione to go outside and what with working afternoons there just does not seem to be enough time in the day to do everything.

I know some of my Christmas family are not feeling well.

((Jennifer))) Praying for your mom. I respect doctors but when they give you that "I never heard of such and such causing that...." well In my humble opinion it is baloney !! I am thinking that perhaps the patch your mom was wearing caused the fogginess. I hope she feels better. I am really sensitive to medications and have had many reactions doctors never "heard of" but lo and behold when those meds were stopped, the symptoms improved xo

Auntie ...Praying for Bekki and Steve xo. I am so sorry this happening to them. xo


I still do not have my laptop back. I am typing this on my husband's computer..... The next time something goes wrong with my laptop I am just going to bite the bullet and buy a new one geesh !!

Hermione is doing well with house training at times. She is almost 10 weeks old now and sometimes it seems like she really asks to go out and others it seems like she squats every hour on the hour !! Oh well.....She is more important than ANY material possession and I know she will get it eventually. She goes for a check up tomorrow with our regular vet. I want to make sure she is perfectly okay though if she were not, I could never return her.

Wish is doing well still also though he did have a bout of tummy trouble yesterday. It scared the bee-jeebers out of me !! I was afraid it signaled something more serious starting to occur with his health but he has returned to his baseline and seems fine.

Good luck at Jury Duty, SIT. Is this your first day?
I have to go in a couple of months :sad:

It was my first day, but I got out of it because I actually sent a letter requesting that they defer my date to a later date because my supervisor is out of town and I do her job when she isn't there. I never got a response, I explained the situation when I got there and they let me leave. But I will probably have to serve again later in the year.

Sorry about the jury duty thing, and I didn't agree with Madonna being the half-time show, either. They needed some ROCK-n-ROLL!!

Just tell them you think drugs should be legal and everyone else should be taken out behind the court house and shot.;-)

Good morning! Just waking up after a very good nights sleep. The computer says it's 54F but it feels cooler outside than that to me,but who knows after this winter or lack thereof my senses are all screwed up. I am about to go to the gym before work this morning and hoping for a better day at work than yesterday..have a good one everybody!

well here it is that cruel time of year for florists. was off yesterday so i have no idea what is going on thus far @ work. sometimes it starts the week before other times the day before.
i did very little this weekend. took some down time for myself but still managed to get things done around the house w/ the help of kids & hubby. that will have to do till after next week. i've been keeping up w/ everyone but haven't posted much.
sugar i do hope you & your little one get well real quick fast & in a hurry!

Good evening,

Another long day, I am so tired lately. I don't have any plans tomorrow, just resting my foot, I am so disappointed, I was planning on lacing up my hockey skates up in Vermont for during our stay at the Inn for the wedding, but my foot will not let me. It has been years since I have laced them up. I use to when I was in high school play hockey on the frozen ponds from the time I got home from school until I couldn't see when it was dark, I miss that so much.

Sorry about this, Xmas. Hoping your foot feels better & soon! When is your next appointment?

If anyone is looking for anything Christmassy tomorrow, "A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas" is coming out on DVD and Blue Ray. I won't buy it yet, but I do have it on my Netflix Que. It looks funny, if you like that type of humor.

That's good they released you. I had to request a postponement because of work conflicts & doctor appt.'s the week I was supposed to go in. I now report in @ the end of March. The last time I got summoned was one week before our wedding, and we were getting married back in Wisconsin. So, I went prepared w/ plane tickets, hotel/banquet hall receipts, etc. as proof! There were over 500 people summoned- it ended up being for the OJ Simpson theft trial. That would've been interesting at least!!

Frustrating day here!!!! I had a very good workout at the gym though,ran 2miles then lifted weights too. For lunch we are having Moe's burritos which are the best IMO. But we are in the process of having to do reviews and that involves tons of paperwork for me.I am thinking of starting to just take them home the weekend beofre they are due to give me a leg up because it is so hard to try to do it and work on the floor at the sametime! Break is over,hope everyone is having a great day so far.

Oh Cm3!!! I meant to tell you before now that I love the pics of hermione! SHE is so lucky to have you as a furmom!! good luck finishing up on the potty training...that is the only thing I worry about when I get another one. I am thinking of wiating until this summer so Brandi's will have about a month off for summer break!

We are actually getting a bit of snow this morning, a rare sight this winter. There was just a story in the local paper about how the maple syrup producers are worried because of the mild winter. They are hoping we get a good freeze yet before the tapping starts.

Just a bunch of little jobs to do today.

Five days off, my Friends -- the one quarter Milestone to the Season, # 2 on our handy-dandy chart.
(Just think about that now. If the year was a football game, we would be almost half way to halftime!)


We started out at 37 degrees here this morning in the capital city, a tad warmer than yesterday.
It's nice and sunny with highs predicted in the mid to upper 50's for the entire forecast period.
And no more than a 20 percent chance of rain for each day.
Quite good for February, I would say!

Mom wants me to run her to the north side to drop off some resumes today and then I need to go help one of my friends do some work on his car.
