It was very warm on Thursday then was chilly yesterday and going to warm up today. The weather changes so much from day to day.

Good Morning, Wonderful Weekend Warriors among other Seasonal Superlatives!

With another week's journey behind us, it's time to sit back and relax with one of Carls' home-delivered fired twinkies and a glass of Sweet Southern Iced Tea while pondering this:
Days to the Season: 262
Days to Christmas Day: 304
With special note that we are now barely over half a week away from the grand opening of the 300-day Christmas Day Window.
(And won't the view to double-200's be awesome!)

Wow!
What wind and rain we had late yesterday.
We were under a severe thunderstorm warning and tornado watch for much of the evening.
Fortunately, nothing of a very nasty nature developed.
(Dodged another of mother nature's bullets, I guess!)
We have started today much chillier than yesterday, at 41 degrees and we won't get out of the 50's all day today or tomorrow.

Good morning, everyone. Just wanted to drop by and try to do some catching up before leaving for the ballgame. Cold outside, but the sun is shining. Could be a pretty day, but it's not supposed to be above 50. As long as the sun keeps shining, I will take it.

Made, I'm watching the truck race from last night. I've got the DVR set to record the Nationwide race today and I can't wait to watch it. Forgot to tape the Twin 125s, but sounds like Jr. has a pretty good little set-up.

Made, I'm watching the truck race from last night. I've got the DVR set to record the Nationwide race today and I can't wait to watch it. Forgot to tape the Twin 125s, but sounds like Jr. has a pretty good little set-up.

The end of the Truck race was pretty exciting!!! Junior rode around in the back for most of the 125 but he came right up to the front when it was time to go. So I'm hopeful for tomorrow but first I hope he wins the Nationwide race today!!!!!!

Happy Rudolph Day MMC!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly one here in Central Indy but at least the winds have died down from yesterday. I'll be watching the race coverage this morning and afternoon. Then this evening I have a birthday party to go to. I'm hoping to be home in time to listen to the Greasy Skillet. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any way am goona be the only person that has there christmas stock in by march wow and cheap at that. now to wonder what am gonna do with 25 pallets to oct...cause that is how many i usually buy to do over christmas.

If you order any Santa's you can store them in my apartment!!!!! Of course I may have to open a few and display them to make sure they are up to your high standards.

Taking a break from yet another school assignment to stop in and see how everyone is doing. It is supposed to hit 70 degrees here by Wednesday! What happened to winter?!? If this keeps up I will break out my Christmas DVDs and have a marathon (or move farther north!LOL) Hope everyone has a blessed and beautiful day!!

How you all doing
I have had one crap day.
One of the firms i buy a lot of stuff of and that i buy ALL my christmas stuff are going to into administion(not spelt right lol) and will be closing at the end of march. they cant beleive it and i cant beleive it
Its not them . they are part of a larger thing which give them 3 years to make up the 3.5 million as they only had 2 million of it made up. the receivers came in thursday and just told them to fire a lot of the staff and some of the office staff. one girl is gone ans she was my main person to talk to
I sat for a while and never spoke and thats not me as i can talk for ireland lol
i am really worried about the christmas stock as there stock was so good and at the right money
But they have told me that all pallets will be 1/2 price so i have picked about 10. at the moment they will still be getting a lot of pallets in to the end of march
they have about 300 pallets of christmas stuff. so am gonna have to buy my chrsitmas stuff now o hell its gonna mean a lot of money and 2. the storage.
i had 5 pallets booked from last week and i also got then 1/2 price but guess that did not make me that happy as all i can think of is the christmas stuff as it really does well in the shop as i can sell it at the right price .
And any pallets all have to be paid and lifted by end of march. am goona try and take as many as possibe of them.
Anyway that was my day

Sorry to hear about your day, shellie. That really stinks. I wish you the best, and hope you can find someone to help you with the storage. Do you have units available to rent there for a good price? And good luck on finding some new companies with beautiful & reasonable Christmas stock. I'm sure it's very difficult after dealing with a reliable firm for so long to start over & build new business relationships with. If anyone can do it, it's you!! xoxo

Isn't that cool?! I've noticed it since I've been around, but I also notice the phrases change =) Maybe they change w/ the amount of posts? Can anyone explain that?! I'm kind of curious now!! :grin:
