Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I have avoided getting sick for weeks now while everyone around me suffered from one ailment after another, but I finally lost. When I went ot bed last night, my throat was really sore. This morning, it doesn't hurt too much, but I'm hoarse and less thatn 100%. Doggone it!!

Today is my son's guitar practice and my daughter's dance practice, so we all finally get together around 8pm every Tuesday.

I'm looking forward to my couch this evening!

Hello friends...I have been away from the site for a bit. As some of you may know, I joined a dating site about a month ago. I have had lots of dates and met some very nice ladies. But I have not had potential love connection..until this past weekend. I had a date with a lovely woman about 40 miles from me. She is a nurse and we have many similar interests. She likes to dine out, cook and grill and home, travel, take weekend road trips and lots of other cool things just like I do. She also absolutely LOVES Christmas just as I do. She was so thrilled when I shared with her my love for Christmas and the fact that I'm on this site. I'm really excited about the possibilities with her.

Hope you guys are all doing well and I'm so thankful for each and everyone who post/contribute to this site. Ofen I just come on here to read and take in the wonderful spirit from this site and all of you who make it what it is. Thank you!

It is great that you have had some good dates the past few weeks. Dating helps you to learn even more about yourself. I am glad that you met someone you have the right connection with, what a plus that she is also a Christmas lover! I hope that it works out between the two of you.

WHERE IS EVERYONE? i'm super stoked to be back on/up & i can't find anyone to gab w/
the computer guy found out a little about our computer. he explained to us that when anyone goes on facebook or myspace or stuff like that (but of course not here) downloads stuff even a friend sent them can have a virus (w/out either party knowing) & once we download then ta-da...we have it. one of my daughters friends was here a few weeks ago & we think that may be when it happened. nothing intentional but still....so hubby & i have told the kids hands off unless you're checking school schedule or something like that.
the weather is so random here. i'm ready for spring. i hope this morning finds all smiling & happy!:!!

I have been so busy lately, I am slacking with keeping up with MMC! My brother is a computer specialist and I know quite a bit about computers myself. Facebook is about the worst place to get viruses. People always post things such as, "Can you believe this - click here!" and meanwhile it's a virus that they clicked on and are now spreading. Make sure that you have a good virus program downloaded!

I've returned! And, on a special day!

I am excited for Crown to usher in the countdown for a milestone! Anyway, where have I been? Last Thursday, I became violently ill. It was a 24 hour flew, but it took a lot out of me. At times, I could barely move! It was mostly gone by Friday. I could go back to work then. The weekend seemed OK. I improved throughout. Now, all is well.

I wanted to post yesterday, but I was really busy with stuff at work. Packages just kept coming in! And, it was my mail duty day, so I was running around throughout. I will catch myself up with much of the events here throughout the day. I just thought I should stop in quickly and say hello. Can't wait for the count! We're flying through 2012!

Oh no, I am sorry to hear that you were so sick on Thursday. Having the flu is the worst, even if it is only for a day - both physically and mentally draining. I am glad that you finally feel like yourself. At least you are keeping busy with work and the time will fly by for you so you can get to the weekend. Have a good day!

I am jealous of the snowstorm! We have had some snow this year, but nothing truly significant. I am secretly hoping that we get pounded with at least a foot, but the temperatures are going to be in the 60's next week so that will never happen. I will send a jet your way to pick you up! Wow 300 day mark on a Pines day and on leap day (is that right?). This is so exciting. So many specifics to celebrate it is going to be an amazing night.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be another mild day here in central Indy with a high near 50. It looks like we could get some strong storms tonight though. I'm dragging this morning after staying up to watch the race last night and then the post race on speed channel. So I don't see a lot getting done today. My plan is to find some christmas craft ideas to do with my nieces. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love sweatshirts, there is nothing comfier. When I was little, my mom used to buy my brother and I matching ones to wear at Christmas - I remember rocking Winnie the Pooh Christmas ones haha! I also love blasting through the landmarks. Enjoy your day!

off to London to see a movie at the Rainbow cinema...only $4 today. Lindsay is not getting out much these days so she will enjoy some time away.

Ran out and did dome errands after I dropped the boys off, went to the grocery store to pick up a few things, and I saw the coolest thing. When you walk down the frozen section, the lights in the doors get bright, and after you walk by them they get dim again, I thought it was so cool! Must be the grocer in me when I used to run a frozen food section.
I am making pot roast for dinner, the yummy smells are filling the house right now. Then I went to the Goodwill store I looked at their Christmas selection and nothing to my liking, but I found a heavy sweatshirt that will be great to wear when I work in the freezer, and I found the book "Skipping Christmas" for $0.50, so I had to grab that.

Starz Kids & Family is having a mini Christmas movie marathon today, I just watched Home Alone, and next is "I'll Be Home For Christmas," so I will be resting my foot watching Christmassy stuff for the next few hours.

Enjoy the day, off to choose my Christmas song of the day!

I am so sorry that you are sick! I feel like I have been avoiding it pretty well until now, too. My throat is sore, my nose is stuffed up. I started to take Zinc - that helps to fight off a cold/sore throat. Even if you already have it, it'll cut the sickness in half! I hope their practices go well! Enjoy relaxing when you get home tonight - have a good day!

Good afternoon, everyone! It is noon here and I am getting hungry so I think I'm going to make myself a salad for lunch. I have a lot of studying to do today - a midterm tomorrow and a test on Thursday. I wish that I had some TV shows to watch tonight, but nothing is on aside from Last Man Standing. I am really in the mood for a hockey game, but the Penguins don't play until tomorrow.

I think I'm coming down with a cold which isn't good at all, especially with all of the work I have to do. I went out to the mall, to lunch, and to the grocery store on Thursday and I started to feel sick on Sunday, so I know I picked something up at one of those places.

Next week is spring break - thank goodness. I need some time off! I am not going anywhere but I don't mind, I'll probably take a vacation in the summer.

I am off to do some studying - have a great day, everyone!

The good news is that it is a rare and slow growing type and all her vital organs are clear for now. Not sure what the next step is, if anything.

On a positive note, our high school baseball season kicks off today with our first game. My son starts in leftfield and bats 5th. He is just a sophomore so hopefully it will be a fun 3 seasons of high school baseball. We are very much a baseball family. To us, football, basketball, golf are ok but pale in comparison to baseball.

Hermione has gone from 10.2 pounds on January 27 to 23.3 today February 26 !!! She has a huge appetite but I am glad to see that.....It means she is a growing and healthy puppy. I did read something which made me very, very sad though. She is half Bloodhound and it seems that they don't live very long....only 7 years... and most of the time they die from gastric bloat/torsion. I am praying that the other half of her which is Golden Retriever will lengthen her life .........

My Wish is doing incredibly well still !! I am so happy. It has been (Thank God) since September when he had his last "episode". If the Good Lord is willing he will be 16 this August !!


Clancy and Ivy as well as Smokey and Lily are also doing well. Thank goodness for healthy kids !!

So glad to hear all of the furbabies are doing well!
