Well, one of our two basketball teams lost tonight in the state tournament. Tomorrow, our other team plays. Hopefully they have better luck!

Well I posted a few days ago that I was in the market for a new car, I also said I was going to wait until near the end of the year. Well I just couldn't wait!!! After some research and online searching, and agonizing if I should do it now, I did find a pretty good deal on a 2009 Toyota Camry. I was afraid that if I didn't jump on this I would regret it. I know it is a very dependable car and has the highest safety rating, and will be much better on gas than my Grand Prix was. I have mixed emotions about the whole thing, I love the car, and am happy with it overall, but as I said in my original post, I hoping to go another year or two before having to do this. But all is well, it's a good car and I am very happy with it.

Good evening,

I got to come home early, and beat the freezing rain. The roads were not too bad yet. They are calling for about a foot now. I heard on the radio on my way home that Davy Jones of the Monkees died today, when I was a kid the Monkees were my favorite group, I even did a report on them when I was in 5th grade. Once again my music tastes never followed the popular groups of the time.

we had steady snow, then rain then snow ...dropped to -1c now is up to 5c. So nothing real bad, just messy.

You're welcome! I'm glad to hear it! I love when DH and I can get out and do this, although it's not very often anymore without the kids. I wouldn't change it though!

I'm feeling a little worse this morning, doggone it. A little achy, draggy, sleepy, headachy...you get the idea. I hope it's not the flu. I'm a wimp when it comes to even low-grade fevers. If I get to 98.7°, I have to get under the covers with Tamiflu and Alka-Seltzer Plus and Tylenol. :-?

Sorry to hear you're not feeling better today! As everyone else has said, lots of Vitamin C, rest, and extra fluids! Hope you feel better soon!

I am heading to bed soon, my foot is killing me I was in the freezer and had my foot between 2 pallets, I twisted quickly and my foot got stuck and sent a shooting pain out, I didn't feel a "pop" like the first time but it is really hurting. I have to get up early to shovel to get to work.

One more thing, we are watching American Idol and my wife pauses it and says doesn't Steven Tyler look like Harry from Harry and the Hendersons 30 years older and less hair on his face.

Work will be beckoning in a bit, just resting before I get ready. My youngest woke up just after 5am and proceeded to wake everyone up, I am a bit tired. Happy Leap Day, and another month just about over so were that much closer to Christmas.

Just listening to news about a tornado in Harrisburg, Illinois. The destruction they are showing is so bad. My prayers are with all those effected by this.

The pictures did look horrible. You have to feel so badly for these people affected by this. God Bless them. Prayers.

making my plan for kandice b - day...thinking of some donuts, cupcakes, a chocolate cake and a cheesecake....and sausages and potatoe salad for dinner.....yummy...will remind me of christmas....since that is our traditional christmas eve dinner
