Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good morning,

Enjoying the quiet right now, rough night with the boys last night, we sent them to bed without their bedtime story because they just would not listen and were being rotten and overtired. Once again I see why some animals eat their young. cheesy I have to see if work will let me change my shift tomorrow, my wife has a field trip, and JP has baseball practice, I need to get out early enough to get dinner and pick them up from daycare before practice.

One more day until Game 1 of the Bruins vs Caps, but have Pens vs Flyers tonight, that will be one rough and tumble series.

Less than 2 hours until I leave for work, enjoy the Pines.

Thank you so much ... still droopy, but things will improve sometime. Our new turntable/cassette/CD/radio is due to arrive today or tomorrow, so I'm trying to look forward to that. Gotta work this weekend and Mr. will be "on duty" with his dad on Sunday, but the office is closed Monday. So I'm hoping the weekend work doesn't carry over into Monday, so we'll have at least one complete day off together.

I think I am going to call it a night. Maybe tomorrow I will find another test to fail.....:-o

Please don't think that way. If you start anticipating failure, it'll be self-fulfilling. There's finer stuff in you than that. Take a deep breath, clear your mind, and start over. The right place is out there for you. It just may not be the right time yet.

Good morning everyone. I'm finally back after some minor surgery. We are having "Dogwood winter" here. It was 29 this morning with a forecast high of 52 today. Tonight will be in the low 30's before we start warming up again. I really dread summer time with the heat and humidity.

Have a great day everyone. We are praying for you Seawaters. Hope the chemo/radiation goes well. Cancer stinks.

As much as I would love to see the Pens/Flyers series to go on for quite some time, I wish the Pens would just close them out as quickly as possible. Game 7 is always too intense because you know if you lose, you have no hope at all! Plus it is awful if you came all that way and don't move forward. I am over here biting my nails because the Pens are my #1 team and this is going to be a rough series! Hopefully since we beat the Flyers in the last game we know what we need to do and can score quickly and Fleury can hold them off. I was so happy to see Geno get his 50th!

I have been really busy with work and college lately, plus I have been under the weather. I have been really congested for a few days and my throat is really scratchy. Not to mention I get extremely exhausted by around 6 PM every night. If I look down at something or lean down to pick something up, I noticed that when I tilt my head back up that I get really dizzy for a few seconds. My mom thinks it's something with sinuses. Hopefully so because I do not feel like going to any doctor appointments or dealing with anything like that when I have so much on my plate already!

I cannot believe that it is almost mid-April already. Where does the time go? Pretty soon it will be Christmas in July!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a chilly one here in central Indy with a high near 52 today. I get to play mechanic today. My BIL called and said his car won't go over 10mph so I have to go figure out what's going on. I also need to change the oil on my mom's car. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that employee I told you all about that got mad and was sent home, apparently still has a job there. He was supposed to be there yesterday, but had water heater problems and couldn't come in. So I am guessing he will be there today. To be honest, I have mixed feelings about this. I don't know if all of this will change him or not, I have been getting a bit tired of his attitude myself. If he starts running his mouth to me, I will just tell him I don't want to hear it. If he wants the job he will shut his mouth and do the job he was hired to do. All they have ever done is give him constructive criticism to help him do his job better. Nobody yelled at him or anything until he started to yell, he just takes things too personal. I will admit our supervisor is a bit overbearing, you just have to know how to take her, it took me awhile, and I tried to advise him on this as well. The biggest thing is don't try to argue with her (or any of the supervisors) you will not win.

HIYA if i were you i wood not worry about him as you tryed to advice him and did he listen ? think he wood have been glad of the advice on how to get on with the staff as you lot have been there a lot longer and know the ropes but there is always people that have the ideal " my way or the highway "

What a day. In fact, what a week. I am a little ashamed to share this but I have tested two further times and failed. I don't know what the problem is. The tests have gotten trickier since I tested for my present position. Some of the questions really have little to do with transcription. I am thankful I have my job but not feeling very good about myself at all.......

Hermione has now learned to "sit" and "lay down" when I tell her (with food prompting of course). She really tries very hard to understand and please her mommy.

I have a doctor appointment in the morning for a shot for my allergies which are going NUTS right about now. I think I am going to call it a night. Maybe tomorrow I will find another test to fail.....

I don't know much @ your field, but are there courses you can take to update your training? Maybe there would be something in them that would explain these new tests?

I've never heard of Dogwood winter before. I had to look it up in the Farmer's Almanac. It's actually been a little cooler here this week, too. I like it!
