Warm weather continues.
We hit 84 degrees here yesterday and should get close to 80 today, then turn cooler for 'Pines Day.
Currently, we report 66 degrees under clear skies.

good a.m. ya'll!!! my boss called me yesterday w/ a question & heard how bad i sound & told me to take today off too as it's very slow in the shop. thank goodness, i was wondering how in the world i was gonna be able to go back today!
i didn't see where cm3 had posted anything about Ivy. gosh i hope everything's ok.

i'm gonna try to give Daisy, my toy poodle, a bath today. she doesn't really like them but we gotta do what we gotta do!!!

i think i've totally lost my Christmas feeling! i wish i had it right now so badly. think i'll listen to some Christmas tunes & look for it.

Six Flags tomorrow, it won't be as hot, but with 4 kids it may be a long day.

When my kids were little we bought Six Flags season passes. My son, 6 or 7 years old at the time, got bored after going a few times and he didn't want to go anymore! He has been that way all his life. We have taken him to Disney World, Disneyland, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, Vegas and a few other places but he'd rather hang out around the house. He is 22 years old and still that way! Ha ha! He is just very content and happy with the simple things in life. My daughter is the complete opposite!

Anyway, have a lot of fun!

I think about Christmas all year but it doesn't really hit me hard until July. Then I am in full Christmas mode!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a nice day here with a high near 65 degree's. I'm pretty stiff today after laying on the ground changing my friends starter yesterday. Today I have to babysit for awhile this afternoon. I also need to go get some wrapping paper for my niece's birthday gift. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

UNTHINKABLE! I'm going to file a complaint with the owner of MMC and tell him the manager of MMC isn't going a good job!

She is doing ok. She gets tired easily and has some constant pain from the cancer and arthritis but she is tough. She goes to Wake Forest to see her Oncologist later this month. We're not expecting anything new. Hopefully it stays slow growing and away from vital organs. She has lots of scar tissue in her pelvic area from all the surgeries and the cancer is currently isolated in the scar tissue.

This may be more than you wanted to know but thank you very much for asking and for your prayers.

my daughter and I never miss a show. Would love to be able to dance like they do.
Jaleel White is my favorite, loved when he played Urkle on family matters.

We had a toy poodle when I was very, very little, but I still remember Peppy.
You haven't lost your Christmas feeling, it's just temporarily misplaced. I found mine under the record player the other day. cheesy

Getting anxious about this workweek ... I was told last week about an enormous amount of work that's coming in on a deadline that would be impossible if I had all day to work on it, but the work hasn't even come to my desk yet. Hoping it's not one of those situations where I wait all day for the work, then it comes late in the day and keeps me at the office through the evening.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I was out yesterday at a track meet with my son. We had to go to Sandersville, GA, which is a couple hours away. We left the school at 10 a.m., and his only event at this meet was at 6 p.m. THAT was a lonnngg day. Luckily, one of the moms had one of those collapsible tent/gazebo things in her car. I told I'd carry it if I could enjoy the shade, too. That thing weighed almost 50 pounds and I had to carry it 300 yards...LOL. I had the tent on my left shoulder, and two folding chairs and a camera in my right hand. The shade was nice, though. And with all the other moms that gathered there, I'm now caught up on all the gossip! :mrgreen:
