Have a great night!!!!!!!!

:tree:

I'm so jealous! You always have good Christmas movies on! DH says we don't need the movie channels because we wouldn't watch them, but I think I would just because of the Christmas movies!!! We have what, I think like 200 some channels, but I only watch maybe 5-10? Crazy...

I think one of my problems was the fact I wasn't at home when it hit, and the unknown about my family and house, what is scarier is that if I was home, I would have been outside watching what was going on, we can see the damage from our yard, we had some debris tossed into our yard including a "javelin" of a branch that stuck straight into the ground 6 feet from our bay window.

I am sure that makes it very hard. The unknown of your safety of your family and property is very scary.

One word: Awesome!!

I got to see him play in the 90's in Hartford vs the Whalers, the Pens lost that game but I got to see him score a goal, and how he came back from cancer and won the scoring title in 1993 is one of the most amazing sports stories of my lifetime.

I am sure it was truly amazing. My mom and dad saw him play too and she actually shook his hand as he was coming out the locker room. I think it would have been so cool. One of the doctors I work with, actually went and played hockey with him this past winter, on a fantasy thing, to raise money for kids, out west. They do it every year. I think it cost somewhere in the ballpark of $8,000, but that covers all of your meals, hotel, the games, and the experience - everything you do. Plus, the played with him and big time players. I would have died to go to something like that.

I, too, am signing off for tonight. Dinner awaits. Then it will be "finish laundry time" to have every thing ready for this-coming week. Pleasant dreams, everyone.

Thinking about you! (((Seawaters)))

Good morning.
I have a busy week, and got this cold again!
But, I have to take one day at a time..

The biggest trial in Norway since World War 2 is starting right now..
(of a man accused of killing 77 people in a bomb and gun rampage in Norway last summer)
Im not going to sit and watch it, the next ten weeks.
I guess it will be enough to watch the News every night...

I have a doctor app. later. Have to have more allergy meds.

Hope everyone have a GREAT day!

Hope you feel better soon. That's a bummer you have the cold again. Hope your appt. went well!

sugar, hope you get some much needed sleep soon. you are such a wonderful mom!!

this is my last day before going back to work...yuck! i guess it's always hard to go back after time off though.
still recovering from this mess that's taken hold of my body. some people have said it takes about 2 weeks to get over. huh? man i hope not.

daughter spent the weekend w/ a friend. she & her friend went to the rodeo that was where she goes to cowboy church. they worked the rodeo so they got in free. her friend is driving now & it scares me to death. i'm not used to her riding in a car w/ another teen. riding w/ her brothers is different to me. she texted me about every time they went any where.

hubby told me this morning he's probably going to Canada next week. he found out when he got to work & called me.

Thanks MerryM for the comment! You're so sweet! I try to get sleep where I can!

I hope you can at least somewhat enjoy this last day off. I feel so bad you're still not feeling yourself. Let's a bummer. I hope you can soon find a relief.

I don't blame you at all, for having your daughter for having you check in with you. My mom was the same way and I will be the same way with my kids. The signs of a good mom! That's what you are! :hello:

Will you're hubby be gone for long?

story time!

My son went to see the Harlem Globe trotters last year with his best friend Russel. They both bought the basket balls, but only my son managed to get some signatures on his. Well, his friend (has downs syndrome) was so upset his ball was not signed he was crying so my son traded balls with him. So Ray came home with an official basket ball, but no signatures. He said he did not mind because after all it was Russell's birthday! (do I have a sweet son or what!)

Fast forward to last week....

My girlfriend took her daughter to see them and I talked them into taking Rays basket ball with them and the entire team signed it !!!!
I am so excited! Want to keep it for his birthday, but I really do not think I can sit on this until November.

No wonder you love summer so much! I would love it too if midsummer was around 80 degrees! Lucky you! That temperature you are having is our typical spring weather and it is nice! =)

Enjoy your day off!

CM3, just thinking about you and hoping Ivy is okay!

Made, I hope your niece is okay!

It was 80 this morning, but 92 this afternoon---that's what I meant by midsummer! No, our midsummers are hotter than 80! We're going downstairs in a bit where it's cooler.

Ya know, it's funny...I have most of them on DVD, but watching them on TV makes it all the better!! We are lucky, especially since we cancelled all of the HBO's & Cinemax, etc. when we switched to Netflix. For some reason, we still get the Encore Channels, regular & HD. Must be a part of our extended cable or something, so I do appreciate them =)
Hope you have a great evening, sugar!! xo

this is funny...I mentioned earlier how windy it is today, well they finally must of stuck their heads out the office window because they now have a wind warning up on the weather site.
gusts up to 100km

my goodness is it ever windy!

Here, too!
