I've been in the kitchen almost all day.
Baked 5 cakes.
We are having a family Birthday Party tomorrow for both my girls.

I'm exhaused..
Back to the couhce.. with some Ice Cream and warm berries...

What a MIRACULOUS day but then I guess they all are.

IVY IS HOME !!! She is doing well. She ate, napped with her dad, and is the Ivy she was before this whole thing happened. To think she nearly died........I guess sometimes it takes something like this to help one realize how blessed we are.......Our vet is such a kind man. He only charged us for what he did treatment wise, did not charge ONE PENNY for boarding her for the week or for feeding her.

My cup TRULY runneth over right now.......I am crying with tears of joy. Ivy is home AND I have a new job........GOD IS SO GOOD xo And so are all of you (((((Hugs)))))) xo

I just got home from seeing the Hunger Games (which was awesome!!!) and I went to pick up a few groceries.

Happy Friday everyone. Looking at a rainy weekend starting "blackberry winter". Sunday - Tuesday forecast highs in upper 50s with a lows in low to mid 30s. I love these temps but dread summer's heat & humidity.

Sad to see the high school baseball season winding down. We only have 3 regular season games left. At least our son is just a sophomore so we still have 2 more years to go.

They are the "pouches" that are gradually filled with saline to stretch the muscles to ultimately hold the implants later on. It feels like having swimming floaties that hurt.

Well my niece didn't get a good report at the rheumatolagist today. The arthritis is active in her ankle's, knee's, and wrist's again. They are going to start her on a new infusion but first they want to get her tested for a latex allergy because she breaks out every time she has something done.

I really do feel so sorry for your niece and your entire family. It's not fun to see someone go through that because you basically live through it with them. I will continue to pray for for. Hopefully she improves very soon.

I went to work this morning, but came home sick. I probably shouldn't have gone in at all, but I couldn't leave my employee alone to put away 8 pallets of merchandise, most of the boxes weigh 40lbs or more and the pallets are stacked up to 7ft tall, I helped get that done hoping I would feel better, but I didn't so here I am. I have more employees coming in at 1230 and 130, so it shouldn't be too bad.

My wife went to go see The Hunger Games with her mother and brother, my older son went with his aunt to go see Chimpanzee, and LC is at daycare, he isn't ready for movies yet. We started taking JP to the movies when he was 2, LC is 4, he is just not interested to sit long enough to handle it, we may try to take him later this summer to see one.

I will probably take a nap, and take advantage of the quietness.

jeepers xmas, i hope you get well really quick, fast, & in a hurry! what you were saying about the movies is just like my kids were. my son went to movies early on because he loved to watch it but my daughter would NEVER sit still long enough for TV much less an entire movie.

It was so hard to get moving this morning, had coffee & watched part of Disney's A Christmas Carol. Then, hopped in the shower, and when I was leaving for work, Home Alone was on. I wanted to call in sick so bad :smile: !!!!

It's going to be 90 today (we skipped spring ) & 97 by Sunday. Yuck! I'm dreaming of snow!!!!!!!

Well no hints from Valerie about CIJ. I wish Bethlehem lights would put their QVC schedule on their website. That would give us a pretty good idea about what the weekend is going to look like. Oh well. I'm off to break down and vacuum seal the 20 pounds of ground chuck that I got on clearance this morning.
