Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a cool day here with a high in the mid 50's. I have to fix my niece's breakfast and then we have to go pick up ballons for the birthday party tonight. I also have to figure out to get my niece's gift wrapped while she's here. I'll probably have to do it in the bathroom since that's the only room with a lock and she'll just barge in if I try to do it in my bedroom. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good saturday everyone! it's been a while since I have been online,I need a break every now and then. Things have slowed down a tad,but I am still working alot of hours. Brandi is getting ready for the end of the school year only a month left of classes,then we will have a week off before summer school which she has decided to teach starts and goes for 4 weeks,then we will have a month off before fall classes start again. Fall is such a great word!!! I am being tranferred in a year or 2 and I am going up north so I can finally enjoy snow and Fall again!!! Jordan is growing so fast and by next year we will have 2 little ones...its' scary haow fast things change!! well have a great day everyone I miss my mmc buddies alot these days!

I love this part of my job!! I basically have 3 choices or a "wishlist" of 3 places I would like to xferr. Now it depends on what is open...I think New england might be too much of a shock..(weather...ice snow.... etc...I would like to go maybe as far north as penn. I actually would like to try out the Midwest.lol I have lived in the UK. and California,and the Northwest. I have never tried the midwest. they have a little bit of everything in terms of the weather. I have a friend who lives around where you do and everytime I talk to him it's like 5 degrees. But the pics he sends me in the fall is just amazing...

The midwest is awesome!! We miss it, and plan to move back there as well someday. Mostly because of being closer to our families, but also for the people & community feel. The four seasons are amazing!

My Saturday, up until now, has been spent cleaning my stove. It could be the fumes!!!!!

Think one of my dogs will be getting the same treatment shortly; he smells like a basket of gym socks. Might not use the same cleaner though.......

i'm sorry maureen. i'm so used to texting w/ my kids now that i tend to do the same here. RENTS is just short for pa"rents". ya' know, heaven forbid a teen has to use too many syllables while talking. if you ever see PEEPS, that's short for friends.

Great weather today---sunny and just warm enough! We're home-bound today, though, 'cause Mr. is on call with his office and doesn't know when the work is coming in, or whether he can do it from home or will have to schlep in to the office.

Otherwise, just feeling lazy and being lazy this weekend.

I finished crocheting the snowflake afghan last night, but I don't have photos of it to post yet. I'm toying with the idea of offering it for sale in the Merry Marketplace and donating the price (if and when it sells) to MMC's Santa's Sleigh charity. Thoughts? (Offers? cheesy)

You know what's worse than cleaning up for company?

Cleaning up the mess after they leave. Just trying to get things back to normal around here, but I need to take a rest right now.

My wife took JP to baseball practice last night, she was impressed on how much he likes it, she thinks it will be his thing, he has a beautiful natural left handed swing, and he was the only one on his team hitting the ball into the outfield with regularity Baseball sort of runs in the family, my grandfather almost made the Pittsburgh Pirates back in the 40's, he was able to throw quite a mean curveball. I hope JP really enjoys it, it was my favorite sport to play when I was age right through high school.

Hey MMC! Hope you're all having a good Saturday so far :]

I spent 3 hours working on my statistics final but it is ALL done and I think I will get 100% on it!! I have three short papers to write so I am going to get those done after I reply here. I need to wait to hear back from group members to compose parts on two of them.

After I did my final, I made stuffed peppers with my mom. If you're coming to dinner, make sure you're here by 5 so they are nice and hot!! ;] We will also be having buttery rolls, mashed potatoes, kielbasa, and dessert. Don't be late!

Speaking of dessert - I need to figure out what I want to order for my birthday cake! I can't decide if I want half chocolate and half yellow cake or all yellow. I am a chocolate lover, but I am getting chocolate truffle filling and chocolate icing. I'm afraid I'd send people into a chocolate shock/coma if I went with the chocolate cake haha!

Hope you're all having as nice a Saturday as I am. Mr.'s work hasn't come in yet, so we were able to go out to D'Angelo's for lunch and get a soft-serve at Dairy Queen on the way back. The weather is beautiful, and the temperature is perfect ... I think rain is supposed to move in tomorrow, and we need it very badly. I'm exploring free Amazon Prime videos on the Roku, crocheting a winter hat, and about to grab a cup of tea, or maybe a Coke.

Hope you're all having a fun & relaxing weekend so far!

We grilled steaks for dinner, they were so good!! Hubby is really enjoying trying different seasonings, rubs, marinades, etc. He's becoming a grill master =)

He had to go meet up w/ his boss who's in town tonight, so Har & I are going to hang out & watch a Christmas movie. And try a new wine- that'd be just me, lol. Her treat will be a bully stick from the pet bakery across the highway :wink:

Until then, I'll be picking up the kitchen & listening to RJD & MCR!!

Hey all! I took a nap and got up to eat again,looks like I may have a night of insomnia...anyhow...I have not listened to the news at all in like 6 weeks...then this afternoon I turned on the news and I am so amazed at the headlines!!! I recommend anyone who is stressed out not to listen to the news.lol The last month and a half have been the hardest time in my life for many different reasons...and I tend to shut down emotionally when that happens...I turn off the TV and Computer and just keep myself busy and my mind on something else...I hope I feel better soon,cause this stinks.lol!!! well goodnight again buddies! You don't have to worry about the dishes. That's my sister's mother in law's Job during parties. You can have a piece of cake though. My sister, mom, and me all worked on the cake. I just made the icing but I feel that is the most important part or at least the best tasting part.

ha! Just read online that there is going to be a small meteor shower tonight! after 12 am I may go outside and look but it was cloudy today so I may not have any luck. Just stopping by really quick Christmas family xo....cold here today in Ohio....we are going to build a fire later and enjoy being with our furkids, espcially our "miracle" girl, Ivy.

Come to Pa...it's great! Haha. No, actually...it is. There is always 4 seasons every year and I truly do love it here.

And it's not as flat as the midwest!!!!
