did anyone hear about the lawsuit about the song Christmas In Dixie by Alabama?
some dude in Australia is saying they stole his lyrics or something. our radio stations here even played a portion of his song & then Alabama's song. i didn't think it sounded anything like theirs. heck that song is like 30 years old now. seems like a statute of limitation will come up on that claim. some nerve. hello!

had an ok day @ work, work's work.
my son's fiance is kind'a graduating tonight. i say kind'a because she actually has to go through December to complete her courses but to be able to walk w/ the grads she had to do that tonight. i sent her some flowers today since we weren't able to go. we are so proud of her, she works so hard & studies even harder. i truly hope she, one day, becomes my daughter. i'm sure she will be.

Have you tried Tisano cacao tea? It's loose "tea" (actually an herbal tea) made from cacao shells that tastes like dark chocolate! It's heavenly with a splash of milk and a little sugar---all the chocolate without so much fat.

You've got me in the mood for a cup of tea now. At this hour it'll have to be decaf, though!

Man, I sure do miss y'all! I haven't got to come very much in the past three weeks because of the end of school approaching...I can't wait for it to be over so i can get back here and catch up. Graduation is this week, so the end is quickly approaching....anyways....I'm off to catch up on the day....

Maybe that is why I never really liked drinking tea. No matter what kind I buy (tea bags) it just taste so-so. Thanks for the info on that, Christmasstar! I just might have to try making tea the way you do. =)

Yes, we are going on the Amtrak to San Antonio, with my mom and grandchildren, and plan to get an unlimited pass to Seaworld and spend 3 days there. We can't wait!

That sounds fabulous!! I've never been on a train trip, I hear it's definitely the way to see the layout of the land. My best friend says it's the only way to travel =) Enjoy!! Can't wait to hear all about it!!
I haven't been to Seaworld sine I was a little girl, would love to go again someday. Post pics, please!!

That is really nice to hear..i think it is really nice how you can cook.
Did you pick it up from your mum or just start on your own?
So many men cant and wont cook. they think its a womans job so credit to you xmas.
My partner is the same, when we got together he could not boil an egg. now he is great can make almost anything.. the only thing he cant do is fry a egg lol
But i have also seem so many lazy men to. my mate has knee problems and she still has to cook for that man of hers. you should see her trying to go round a kitchen on a stick and him sitting on his a__s

Both my parents were good cooks, when I was in high school I wanted to go to Johnson & Wales University to become a chef, but I lost interest after my mother passed. My in laws are always so surprised how well I cook, I think part of it is because I come up with my own recipes like a Coca cola and pineapple/cherry glaze for ham, or my own homemade Buffalo wings, Sausage Rustica pasta dish. I am not afraid to try things out, and I try to perfect it each time.

A friend of mine passed away, his father went to wake him up this morning and found him dead. There have been so many deaths around here lately, it's very sad. I especially hate hearing of someone so young passing. It really gives meaning to the statement that life is short so live it with no regrets and not to waste time fighting and being angry with people.

I just went out for a bite so now that I am home I am probably going to get some work and cleaning done. I hope everyone is having a good week so far, I am going to try my best to be around more!

I am so sorry Jennifer, I will keep you and his family in my thoughts.

Just listening to Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas while winding down right now. A long day today, I got home and made the kids their dinner and fell asleep on the couch for 30 minute. My late day is tomorrow, so I get to work until 9pm. I am having one of those really missing Christmas days today.

Cant beleive that we are half way to the season
Weather today is bright but cool and it gives rain on and off all week
No pallets today as they did not left the pallet but they will today
Have other pallets i could bring up but there is summer stuff on them and at this minute we have nothing that looks like summer
The shop is really busy and i will admit it is hard keeping it full.
