Well. It's official I AM THE BONE HEAD QUEEN OF 2012. On second thought, let's make that the BONE HEAD EMPRESS. I WASHED my IPOD by accident today. Thanks to Made who has been giving me tips on Facebook it is now resting in a containing sumberged in Uncle Ben's white rice, uncooked of course. I don't know if it will work, and I know this sounds really stupid, but PLEASE PRAY THAT IT COMES BACK....The reason I am so desperate is that there were videos of Ivy on it :sad:

I hope everyone is doing well. It has been a really pretty day here today. I went walking in the yard a number of times with my other three canines, Hermione, Clancy and Wishbone in between when I was kicking myself over and over for being so ........AAAARRRRGH.

It is not long now until Christmas In July and I am really looking forward to it as well as the Hallmark Ornament premiere !

Well, gotta go. computer says plug into another power source NOW !!

What is your local festival?

It's in the town I work in---National MooFest. Mayfield Dairy Farms is there, so the festival has milk chugging contests, ice cream eating contests, etc. I went once & wasn't impressed, but it's good for the local economy.

Ours was nice, but went by way too fast!

We had a nice dinner w/ our friends Saturday night, tried alligator & catfish appetizers, surprisingly delicious. The place we went to has the best hush puppies, had some of those w/ honey butter. And that was only the beginning, came home very full, needless to say!

Yesterday we cleaned & cleaned...so done w/ cleaning! We should be ready for hubby's family to get here next weekend, just need to wash bedding for the guest room and do a few last minute things.

Was anyone able to view the solar eclipse?

It was so amazing!! And a little eerie too. The house got so dark, our back patio was dark, but the neighbors house behind us was all lit up- like it was on fire!! Hubby went out mountain biking to the top of a mountain for the viewing, I decided to stay home. Har & I had a perfect view from our bedroom, it was right to the west of us. Such a cool experience!! All of our neighbors were outside checking it out, with their homemade devices to view it. Surreal.

Well, not much going on this week. Work will be busy as usual.

I have a doctor appointment this morning w/ a new guy. I wanted to start seeing a different dermatologist for skin/mole screenings, and to get a second opinion. The Dr. that removed & biopsied my last ones was very nice, but not as thorough as I had hoped she would be. Found out she is a board certified surgeon who specializes in dermatology, but isn't a board certified dermatologist. That was a surprise. I need to do my homework better, I guess. Anyways, her office didn't bill my insurance properly- lots of miscodes, so I'm still dealing w/ that mess. Plus, she wants to do another surgery on one of them she thinks is growing back...yep, time for someone else to look...

Anyways, hope you all have a great Monday!!

Well i think that is me caught up if i have missed someone or somehting am sorrry
All seems pretty good with you all so glad to hear that.
Have been really busy this last week the shop is really busy and it means bringing in more pallets
The weather is nice today warm round 15c and it gives the same during the week
Had a bbq this eveing just a few steaks and sauages but was nice !!
When to a funeral on saturday morning, instead of a car the family had a black horse drawen carriage. it was different.
Scooby and sasha doing good and all the birds to .so nice to hear then well maybe not at 6 am in the morning but i dont mind.
Our big race bike weekend was there on saturday about 20 mile from me. its a really big thing with racers coming from all over the uk.one of the main roads every near me was really busy all friday right though to monday. and i could hear bikes at 7 in the morning but one racer lost his life think he was from scotland
Was at a birthday party sat night and danced all night. i can feel my legs sore yet lol
Other than that nothing to report o i have decided to get a guy to make me a sants grotto. last jan one of my airblown was gonna be put up to clean and my parnter put it into one of our electric sockets and it burn put. so that leaves a big gap. so was thinking of a wee wooden style house and make it in to a santa grotto. with a fench and snow for the ground and some reindeer and polar bears.. so yes i have been thinking about christmas
So i hope all is good with with everyone and all furbabies.( did see something about milo but could not find the post itself)

Sitting uder a tree,watching thunderheads build up. It is so nice amd peaceful out here at camp David. Came out to pick rhubarb and emjoy lunch with friends.

No, unfortunately not We couldn't find any of the viewing glasses, they were all sold out. Same w/ welding glasses. And hubby tried taking pictures with our little camera, but they didn't turn out. He was frustrated, too, w/out being able to look at it directly, he said he tried his best to hold the camera over his shoulder & snap away...but nothing showed up. I looked at it by mistake! I didn't realize it would be right there, outside my window, lol. Pretty spectacular!

Thanks! I did, he seemed really knowledgeable & nice, and spent almost a half an hour w/ me. We're going to monitor some questionable spots, and look at them again in 6 months.

It's called Rhythm Kitchen, and it's excellent! There's an old supper club in town that's a staple here, called Hush Puppies, and I heard that it one of the owner's kids that owns/runs Rhythm Kitchen. And they use a similar recipe of Hush Puppies. They're not on the menu- you have to ask for them. Sooo good. =)

We have about 5 cats running around here so we usually don't see any bunnies around anymore. The animals we seem to have problems with are skunks. They don't really eat anything they just trample it. If I had put the cages on the tomato plants they probably would have been okay. I did get some powder to sprinkle around though to keep the animals away.

The skies got real dark earlier and it sprinkled for 30 seconds. Then it moved on. :-?
