good morning everyone. sun is coming out and i ll be drinking a coffee now....then packing the bags cos we are going to be at my brother´s house to watch the children until at least sunday....i will miss our cat ....the little psycho .....when the dish washer is ready I will walk to the city with Kandice and just chill a bit

Just got here to my hotel room on the beach and looked at the 3 day forecast and starting tomorrow we are under a tropical storm warning for tropical storm Baryl!!! coming right this way!!! at least we will hopefully get rain we desparately need!!! I am suppose to come home monday and I guess we will ride it out but starting on sunday it will be cloudy and stormy!!! well I am still going to have fun,have a great holiday weekend everyone I know I am!!!

Anne, a second later, we had cold breezes! I wore my jacket all day, in the house with my hood on! Without turning on the heat, it stayed 65 in the house! It snowed in the Tahoe area and in Shingletown (near Redding). That is so weird for this time of year!!!

I think we got cheated in the Bay Area; it not only got cold and windy, it actually started to rain! In late May!!!! But I'm glad you had good weather!

Saturday hello, everyone! It's going to be a hot, sticky day here, but we won't get our window A/Cs in until later in the day ... Mr. is on "dad duty" this afternoon, and I'm afraid of dropping them out the window without his help.

I hope you all are starting off the weekend grand! Wayne and I are enjoying it so far. My job will be closed on Monday for Memorial Day but, as usual, Wayne and I go in and feed the animals. It's not too bad, only takes about an hour and it's nice to see all the critters. The guinea pigs are cute because they start squealing when you come in wanting food!

I remember the guinea pigs I had years ago---they would squeal when they heard the refrigerator door, because they knew that lettuce and apples came from there! And they made that cute little warbling sound when I petted them.

Hey, Britt, I didn't get around to sending my cards either!!! So, I will work on them this summer and just send them this year! But it is SO GOOD to have you back!

Time to own up to my absence, decided i should "man-up".. Obviously you all know That I haven't sent out my christmas cards still... Can you believe it! Cause I can't. I still intend to get them out, Whenever i get some extra $. Last couple months have been financially strained to say the least.. but luckily my wonderful DB was hired at his new job, started monday.. So hopefully bills etc. will be caught up and I'll be able to send out Your guyses cards!! I missed it here badly, but, being my silly self.. I was and still am so embarassed that I didn't send the cards.. that I strayed away from the site. Please do forgive me for not sending them yet hahaa... but seriously, i am so Sorry Hopefully you all won't be receiving two cards this christmas.. (ha-ha.. )

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm cooking away here at Bernie's store in beautiful, downtown Bellville! I didn't have much supper last night, and all this bacon, sausage and coffee is making my stomach growl. "Grrrrr." Hear that?

My neice is getting married today, but Bernie wants to go to the wedding, so I'm stuck here working. Mrs. Hilda is catering, and they said they would bring me a plate, so that's ok.

Oh my!!! Happy Thursday everyone! I am so excited I have made it through a very very rough month at work. I am taking 4 day weekend which started about 43 minutes ago(but who is counting!!!) tomorrow I am working in the yard and saturday and sunday I will be driving up to Savannah,Ga about 3 hours to the northeastern Ga coast. I use to Go to college In a town about 30 miles from savannah and I am having a reunion with my frat brothers whom I have not seen in 10 years...I will be home by monday and back to work on tuesday. So much has been happening,I finally got a new car.or rather I unloaded my old one a 2009 honda accord with only 20k miles I blew up the transmission and it never worked right and no one could fix it!! so I traded that lemon in on a toyota Avalon which Is a step up and bigger since I have a growin family! I hope everyone is doing good! I see the countdown is getting lower and lower, we will soon be at summer solstice which in june 21st!!! after that the days will begin to get shorter!!

Good evening, Christmas Family !!

Okay. Here's the scoop !!

As you know I was freaking out because my iPod just w/o warning. I thought it was dead. I kept reading everything everyone told me to do to get my files back and also checking on the web for iPods that all of a sudden DIE. I found one suggestion I thought I would try first before trying to retrieve them through Icloud.

The suggestion said to resurrect a dead iPod try pushing the button down toward the bottom center at the SAME TIME you push the on button !! IT WORKED !!!!!!

My Ipod was just needing its battery charged !! Of course I didn't know that ........When I plugged it in to the charger and it didnt make that noise make I figured it was GONE. So.........I charged it and it acted perfectly normal.

This morning the first thing I did was hook it to my laptop and I got a message asking if I wanted to import all the photos and videos to my laptop and I said YES !! So all my files are now safe. If it dies again there is no worry. I have my Ivy preserved or at least her image !! as well as all the other photos and videos !!

I am hoping that perhaps I just panicked and assumed it died because of the water that in reality it just needed charged. Time will tell. It is acting PERFECTLY NORMAL though.... Before it came back this time I did let it soak for a few moments in alcohol just in case because of the potential threat of corrosion from water. I hope that helps.

So far, so good. For now it is back and my files are transferred. Also, I wanted to share that I put about 10 silica gel packs in with it along with the uncooked rice and there is NOT EVEN A TRACE OF WATER DAMAGE to the srcreen now!!! It is AMAZING.

Milo isn't doing well, he has regressed the last few days. He cannot put much weight on his hind legs, and only walks like 4 ft at a time. We may have to bring him back to the vet, I just hope he isn't suffering right now, I don't think he is right now.

Very sorry to hear about Milo, xmas. I will pray for him!!

Good morning, everyone! How are you all doing? I'm well! I know I haven't been around in a few days, which I told myself no matter, I would at least check in from iPhone, but I find that even small things keep me busy enough that sometimes I can't always stop in and say hello like I would like to.

This holiday weekend, the family and myself are still very busy. I actually have a 3 day weekend - very exciting, I know! It's my holiday off, so I don't go back to work until Monday night.

Today, I just have things to get done around the house. I would also like to get caught up on here some. I know I'm pretty far behind, so it will probably take me all weekend! Tonight, we're going to a party/picnic for a guy I work with. He's turning 50 next week, so he's have a birthday party at his house.

Tomorrow, we're going to a state park close to my house for a graduation party. It will be nice because it will a bbq, plus they have a little beach, so the kids can play in the sand. The last time we were there though, the water was kind of gross, so we will have to see if EA can get in the water or not.

Here in Canada we have Remembrance day in November, with a minute of silence at the 11th day, 11th hour, 11th min. All kinds of ceremonies at cenotaphs in most communities and cities as we honor all those past and present who are part of those who protect our freedom.
Will be thinking of you all on Monday as you also honor the men and women who give so much so you can live free.
