I don't know why I've been so tired the last couple of weeks. Well I think the heat had something to do with it last week but not today. I even took a 2 hour nap this afternoon and I can still barely keep my eyes open. Oh well. I'm going to call it a night and head to bed super early. Of course I probably won't be able to sleep once I get there. Goodnight Everyone!!!!!!

I am up way too late once again, I guess I am all caught up in the 1 year anniversary of the tornado since reminders are everywhere around here, the town is having a ceremony at 4:30 tomorrow. We were so lucky nobody in this town died from the tornado, a number of injuries occurred.
Just an ordinary day today, work, baseball game for JP, ice cream and home.

I must get to bed, sooooo...

Hello my Christmas friends! I haven't been around for probably a good 6 months and for that I apologize! For those that remember me, I've missed you all. To those that I don't know, hopefully I'll be around a bit more often and can get to know you.

I could try to catch up on the last 6 months, but I don't think there is any way to catch up on this many posts. Ya'll have been busy! I think I'll just jump right in and try to keep up from here on out.

The only major thing happening in my life is that I found out in December that I was pregnant and due this coming August. In March, we found out that our little baby is a girl! Well, 2 weeks ago, we found out that our little girl was going to be making an early entrance to this world! I went to my regular OB appt and after the regular checks, I was told I had pre-eclampsia and needed to go straight to the hospital. After 3 days of strict bed rest at the hospital and multiple blood pressure spikes that put me in danger of a stroke, they delivered our little girl, Charlotte Mae, by emergency c-section on May 18th at 28 weeks gestation. She weighed 1 lb 15oz at birth and was 14 inches. She is tiny, but she's a fighter!

Little Charlotte is doing great. She's in the NICU and will be for 2-3 months. But she was only intubated for 24 hours and then was taken down to just having a little bit of oxygen flowing through a nasal cannula. They are hoping to have her off of that in a week or so. Her only complication so far has been a heart murmur that they treated with medicine and it has already healed up. She really is doing great and her only focus at this point is to grow, grow, grow! At 2 weeks old/30 weeks gestation (tomorrow) she is up to weighing 2 lbs 2oz. We've got a long way to go still, but so far we are great!

Anyways, I look forward to getting back involved and seeing how each and everyone is doing. I have missed having the every day reminder of Christmas in my life - although my older DD keeps it very real and is clearly taking after her mama in her love for Christmas!

Trampoline (a big one in the garden) and a aeroplane (BOEING 737 of course!)

And guess what?
June 1st and we wake up to SNOW!
That's never happend before!
It's all gone now. But SNOW in June?
And in the Kindergarten thay had made a tiny snowman!!!

Good Friday Morning my Christmas Friends!!!

The kids are out of school so I will have all 3 of my grandchildren all day now. They will be here shortly and we plan to have some fun!

I am working and planning on catching at least part of the Greasy Skillet!

I am going to catch up on some work this morning/beginning of the afternoon. I have a doctor appointment mid-afternoon to get the lump on the back of my neck checked out. Hopefully it is nothing because I don't want to start the month off having to go to all kinds of appointments!

I need to catch up on the countdown and I plan to do so when I get home a little later.

Good morning,

I ran and picked up those ornaments after I dropped the boy off at school and daycare. They are really cool and really old, I wish I could find the year they were made. The other thing about them you don't see much anymore the top of the ornaments it says "Shiny Brite Made in U.S.A." I will take some pictures and post them later. I have a few things to get done this morning before I can do that. I love buying Christmas stuff in May!

it has been raining all day and the really hard stuff is yet to come. My air conditioner is leaking all around where I installed it. Did not even think to check it until I noticed the puddle on the carpet! So out came the towels to soak it all up, hopefully the rain changes direction and it does not get worse.

I've always wanted to...

I'm really looking forward to the movie on Hallmark sometime later this year, and the series is scheduled for early 2013, I believe.
