Saturday hello! I think we're in for some storms later today. It's very sticky and muggy out there.

I love reading all your news---even though I don't answer everyone individually, you can be sure I'm thinking about you all and trying to keep up with the posts. Keep cool, keep safe from storms, keep your furry (and feathered and en-shelled) family members safe and cool, and have a great weekend!

Since I have very little to do this weekend (already went to Publix), I'm just gonna stay in my pajamas and watch my DVD set of The History Channel's series: The States. I'm such a nerd!

Love the History Channel! Does that make me a nerd, too? cheesy

Love this post and your wonderful attitude. You are right about it being worth every penny!

I am in such a good mood today!

Over the past few days we have started receiving hospital bills for when Wayne had to stay there with his heart problem. My jaw just dropped when I saw how much everything cost, which is not unusual to be that high. Insurance is covering a lot but our balance is still insane. At first I was thinking how are we going to pay for all this?

Now I look at all these bills as a blessing! Wayne got thoroughly checked over, blood work done, every possible test on his heart and all came back looking great! I stayed with him every night at the hospital, everyone there was so nice, he got the best care and I was glad they fixed his heart rhythm. The hospital stay could have been tragic but it wasn't! I feel a sense of peace that he doing well!

These bills are worth every penny to me just to know he is healthy!

I think we are going to do something Christmasy today. We just might go to that very large Christmas store.

Have a great day everyone! Think Merry Thoughts my friends! :-D

Meceka,
Can you give us more info? I am really interested!

Walking shoes - I got mine on Amazon. They were supplied by a store that caters to nurses. There is such a big difference between those shoes and my old pair of tennis shoes I got at a department store. The cost was only a bit more and there was free shipping, too! [/QUOTE]

I totally agree!

Reading through these posts about people having fun, enjoying glimpses of Christmas, relaxing with pets, struggling with bills, dealing with bosses and so much more. Made me realise we have become like family. I know I love to come here and catch up with what is going on with everyone.

CM3,
I do what you do: click Quote, type in my reply, and the click Submit Reply. It takes me to the last page so I just hit the back button twice and it then takes me back to where I was. HTH

Good morning Christmas family and happy Weekend !

UGH..Another day of the outside being a furnace.........Yesterday by the time evening came our air was not keeping up well. It was set really, really low but still got to 76 in the house.........I am wondering if covering the living room window with that window film would help keep the heat out...??

Nothing big going on today. Just going to try and stay cool. I may take my furkids outside here in a minute just to let the big ones use the potty and let Wish get just a moment of fresh air.....I hear that hawk cawing so you can bet I will be hovering closer than breath to Wish and I think I will take something with me just in case the hawk gets brave so that I can let it know who is boss....I LOVE all animals and hawks are majestic creatures.....They are just doing what instinct tells them and I know that...they are not evil.....But I am going to do what instinct tell me to do too....and that is protect my baby......

I was wondering about something.... I would like to reply to more posts individually like you Made and others but I am wondering if I am missing a way to do that..........I see there is "reply" or "quick reply"...The thing I don't like about "reply" is that it always takes me to a new page or the end of the posts for the thread then I have to hit the back button to get to where I was.....is there an easier way ??

I hope all have a very wonderful COOL and Christmassy day !! A few of us on Facebook yesterday started quoting the movie Elf....It was so much fun !! Everyone came up with some of the most funny quotes from that movie...but then I love the whole movie anyway !!

Take care, Christmas family (((HUGS)))

Special Saturday ((HUGS)) to Ella, Harlowe, Snickers, Snowball, Victor, Penny, Pocket, Palmer, Mouse, Bo, Jacob, Cracker, Chico, Meca, Alvin, Daisy, Diva, Scooby, Sasha, Gomez and siblings (I know I am missing somebody ) and to all furkids everywhere xo

I can hardly believe it, BUT I have some energy today!!! I went for my blood test yesterday, and really started to feel well. (I lost another six pounds, by the way, so maybe I might not really need the John Deere tractor seat for a bike. On the other hand, it would be SOOOO comfy!!!)

Warning - shouty capital alert............

I'M SO SICK OF THIS HORRIBLE, COLD, RAINY, I'M DEVELOPING WEBBED FEET, WEATHER

Seriously contemplating building an ark. I'm sitting in sweatpants and a hoodie with fleecy socks and just can't get warm. Had 5 weddings today and 2 were supposed to be outside. Unfortunately (for them, not for me!) the rain was horizontal so they were pulled indoors - one was at a castle

and the other was at an observatory

As you can see, anywhere at the castle is open to the elements and at the observatory, the railed bit to the left is where it was supposed to be. We ended up in the domed bit!!!

Okay, that's all

PS
Glad you're getting your energy back Cherylle xx

I have the movie Python on for background noise. It is in honor of my dad who watched every scary movie that was on, no matter how awful. I miss him!

oh.... ♥

Awesome! I have not seen them. Have you heard of Rain? The guys that played in Broadway not too long ago? Wayne and I have seen them 4 times. They are absolutely amazing! First time I saw them was 2 years ago, had front row tickets and ready to "pick them" to death. I told Wayne that I was a little afraid I would be disappointed. NOPE! They blew me away and it was as if I was watching The Beatles, themselves, live!!! They had all their mannerisms down, singing, the way they dressed, etc. They changed into different costumes throughout the show displaying the years of their looks changing.

When they tour here they usually perform every night for a week. I was so impressed that when we saw them for the first time, sitting in the front row, we went back the very next day to see them again, upper balcony. We did the same this year too when they came in town. We sat in the front row again then went back the very next day. Upper balcony on the 2nd day.

I have seen a few other tribute band but Rain is the best so far.

Please give me a report on what you think of these guys you will be seeing. HAVE FUN! Be sure to, "Twist and Shout"!

I have seen Rain on PBS, they are pretty awesome. This group is a New England based tribute band, I don't know if they venture out to far.
Pretty cool way to spend Ringo Starr's 72nd birthday.
