Good morning, everyone!

A quick hello can't hurt. Hope all is well with everyone. I miss you guys. Not much is new here. Still working the nothing - minimum wage - job and searching for a full-time position. Otherwise, I'm happy. Kim and I have been enjoying ourselves. We didn't do a whole lot on the weekend, really... But, we did go to the movies with her best friend and her boyfriend to see Ted. It was absolutely hysterical! It is really vulgar, however. Thankfully, none of us are offended very easily, so we loved it!

Practicing Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as playing on Mondays with my league team continues to take a lot of my time. I guess it's good this year that Kim is working 12-8, considering I am rarely home before 9:30!

Christmas in July is nearly here! Kim's friend Britt was complaining on Saturday that Hallmark was beginning to put out Christmas ornaments last Friday. Of course, I informed her that it happens ever year! I can't wait to go to the store and check it out! Should be exciting...!

Anyway, I should get back to "work." I have too much on my plate here for what I am getting paid... Ahh well. At least I have some income for now.

Good morning y'all!

I totally messed up yesterday & had a small cup of coffee around 5:30p.m., went to bed around10:30, think I fell asleep for about 2 hours & that's it. Man, I 'm gonna be dragg'in today. the craziest stuff was going through my mind. If it's slow @ work today it will be even worse. Atleast if I'm busy it's easier to stay awake.

Late coffee, not good for the nights sleep (unless you're Binger)! No coffee for you this afternoon!

Tomorrow is the 11th and as its the matching season as they call it over here.. in protestant housing estates there will be large bon fires lit and last well into the night . the 12th is a big matching day in towns across northern ireland.

That's very interesting! Never heard of Matching Day.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a hot day here with a of 86 degree's this afternoon. The good news is that it looks like we may see some rain at the end of the week!!! I spent a little bit of time weeding my garden this morning and it looks like the heat wave did some damage. It looks like one of my blueberry bushes, one tomato plant, my basil, and chives have all died even though I watered them twice a day during the intense heat. On the plus side though, my other 2 tomato plants loved it and now have about 14 small tomato's growing on them. Well I'm off to do something constructive. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

At our feed store we have a gardening center and I am suppose to give people advice on planting and I tend to kill everything I plant! lol

I had a lot of work to do yesterday afternoon, and I didn't get home till almost dark. It's still hot around here. I had a bite to eat, showered, then Lulu and I laid on the bed to watch Little House on the Prairie on Hallmark Channel. I just love those Christmas movie commercials that Hallmark is playing now. As Cojack mentioned, the movies will air this weekend! Lots of snow and lots of SANTA!

I am looking forward to Hallmark too!!!

This weekend we will be celebrating my grandpa's 87th birthday, so I hope I am all better by then.

Happy Birthday to him!!!

Wayne and I took our granddaughter to the lake for a walk. She is so funny! She is almost 3 years old and she talked all the way to the lake, the whole time we walked and all the way back home. She really keeps Wayne and I laughing a lot!

While we were walking my granddaughter started singing, Mele Kalikimaka then said, "Sing it grandma"! So her and I started singing it while walking. It happens to be my favorite Christmas in July song.

Weather today is cool about 14c but dry.
Was surposed to have pallets today from the shopping channel but they missed the boat so it means a double load tomorrow. and as we are shut on the 12th and 13th leaves one day .
Tomorrow is the 11th and as its the matching season as they call it over here.. in protestant housing estates there will be large bon fires lit and last well into the night . the 12th is a big matching day in towns across northern ireland. there is none in our town this year it is in a town about 3 mile away. well it really is a village . it is quiet claim now a few years ago it used to be tara. as one side wood want to match some where and the other side wood protest. but seems to be well settled now ..people wood have been on edge as trouble wood sometimes have flared up.. but it is very claim round about my area now . so on the 12th am gonna try and work a few hours and have a bbq for dinner well thats my plans anyway lol but a few of my friends will be going down the town for a drink so i might go to. i join in with everything .

Tuesday hello! No news ... just "hello."

Good morning, MMC! I tried to reply to as many of you as possible from recent posts, so if I missed anyone I'm sorry. I hope that you all have a wonderful morning and a Tuesday filled with Christmas joy!

My life has been pretty boring the past few days. I got the pink eye on Saturday night but I didn't realize it until Sunday when I woke up and my eye wouldn't open. I spent the majority of my day in the doctor's office waiting for them to see me and prescribe me the drops. By the time I finally got home, I just wanted to relax. Yesterday was basically a repeat, minus going to the doctor's office. I spent the day working, doing school work, and just taking it easy. Today (again) will be a repeat of the past two days. It's very frustrating not being able to wear my contact lenses. The bad news is that the pink eye spread to my other eye, so now I am going to have to wait even longer to put them in! I guess I can't get a break.

Thank you for your nice comments for my friend about her dog. She appreciates the kindness! :] She is doing a lot better today and her other dog is finally adapting to being the only one in the family. It's a sad story but there is sadly nothing that can be done. And thank you for the well wishes when it comes to my eye!

My mom and I were hoping to head to the mall this week, but it doesn't look like it will happen. I am going to have to be without my contacts for a few more days and she will be busy with work. This weekend we will be celebrating my grandpa's 87th birthday, so I hope I am all better by then.

I am going to make sure that I have nothing to get done for school, then I'll probably just be lazy and relax in front of the TV. Have a great day at work everyone!!

Happy Tuesday!

Just sitting here & trying to work, but my mind keeps going in the Christmas direction:grin: It probably doesn't help that I'm listening to MCR, but I don't care because it makes me happy!!

How are you guys today?

Disney's A Christmas Carol was on this morning, and I just wanted to crawl back in bed & watch it. I even bought some hot chocolate & mini marshmallows. It should be snowing right now!!

Unfortunately, my reality is that we have excessive heat warnings for the next few days. It's supposed to get up to 114 degrees today Not looking forward to that! Hopefully, we get rain by Friday, to cool it down some.

Well friends, have to force myself to get back to work. Break time is up...Have a jolly, Christmassy day!!

It's next Monday and Tuesday!!!! Hopefully I'll have the schedule for it tomorrow. Monday is just going to be a few shows throughout the day but Tuesday should be a full day.

I forgot to mention but I FINALLY saw Mr. Krueger's Christmas, starring Jimmy Stewart, last night. I decided to watch it here on MMC after I heard the new wonderful podcast and Jeff talked about it. It's only 30 minutes long and has a very moving story. I LOVED IT!!! I am sure most of you already seen it, if not, what are you waiting for!?

I got an email from Yankee Candle today, they have started advertising their Fall scented candles! New scents include:
Apple Pumpkin
Season's Blessings
Treehouse Memories
Whoopie Pie!
Caramel Pecan Pie
and Harvest Welcome.

My wife really wants to try Apple Pumpkin, it's my favorite scent (apple) and hers (pumpkin) so it could be a great compromise.

I wonder if they will ever make one that smells like a roasting turkey. I have always been curious about that, imagine burning a candle that smells like Thanksgiving while watching Christmas in July stuff.
