Man, talk about falling behind....

Had to run to a nearby town and get a new pair of shoes....hope to catch up tomorrow!

It seemed like there was a ton of chatting going on yesterday, which is always a good thing, but I missed a lot too! Hope that you enjoy your new shoes!

I totally messed up yesterday & had a small cup of coffee around 5:30p.m., went to bed around10:30, think I fell asleep for about 2 hours & that's it. Man, I 'm gonna be dragg'in today. the craziest stuff was going through my mind. If it's slow @ work today it will be even worse. Atleast if I'm busy it's easier to stay awake.

Yikes! If I had a cup of coffee around that time, I'd be wired for the entire night. At least you managed to get a couple of hours of sleep, even if it is short. Maybe a morning cup of coffee is exactly what you need LOL. Have a good day at work!

Good morning mmc. hope all is good in your part of the world
Weather today is cool about 14c but dry.
Was surposed to have pallets today from the shopping channel but they missed the boat so it means a double load tomorrow. and as we are shut on the 12th and 13th leaves one day .
Tomorrow is the 11th and as its the matching season as they call it over here.. in protestant housing estates there will be large bon fires lit and last well into the night . the 12th is a big matching day in towns across northern ireland. there is none in our town this year it is in a town about 3 mile away. well it really is a village . it is quiet claim now a few years ago it used to be tara. as one side wood want to match some where and the other side wood protest. but seems to be well settled now ..people wood have been on edge as trouble wood sometimes have flared up.. but it is very claim round about my area now . so on the 12th am gonna try and work a few hours and have a bbq for dinner well thats my plans anyway lol but a few of my friends will be going down the town for a drink so i might go to. i join in with everything .

I believe that temperature is only in the upper 50's Fahrenheit so that does sound pretty chilly! As much as I love the summer, it has been too hot. I would love a week of temperatures in the 60's. A double load is never good, but at least it will keep you busy! A BBQ for dinner sounds delicious - send some of it my way! I hope you enjoy your night out with your friends if you go. I am sitting on the porch with all the kitties and drinking coffee. Then Wayne, our granddaughter and I will go for our morning walk.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a hot day here with a of 86 degree's this afternoon. The good news is that it looks like we may see some rain at the end of the week!!! I spent a little bit of time weeding my garden this morning and it looks like the heat wave did some damage. It looks like one of my blueberry bushes, one tomato plant, my basil, and chives have all died even though I watered them twice a day during the intense heat. On the plus side though, my other 2 tomato plants loved it and now have about 14 small tomato's growing on them. Well I'm off to do something constructive. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

It seems like you never can get a break with the heat, Made!! It is going to be hot here, too. I am glad the temperatures dropped into the 80's compared to the 100's we had the past couple of weeks. I am sorry that your garden suffered from the heat! I have a blackberry bush and I didn't even check to see how it is doing. My dad maintains it so hopefully he kept it watered, even in the drought. I am glad that your tomato plant survived - I love tomatoes! Send some my way :] Have a great day!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a lot of work to do yesterday afternoon, and I didn't get home till almost dark. It's still hot around here. I had a bite to eat, showered, then Lulu and I laid on the bed to watch Little House on the Prairie on Hallmark Channel. I just love those Christmas movie commercials that Hallmark is playing now. As Cojack mentioned, the movies will air this weekend! Lots of snow and lots of SANTA!

I have a meeting this evening with the other local mayors and the county commission to discuss the distribution of the Local Option Sales Tax funds. Fun, fun.

Good morning! Sorry that you had to work late yesterday, it's never fun getting home that late in the evening. I have to admit that I love watching Little House on the Prairie. Good morning, MMC! I tried to reply to as many of you as possible from recent posts, so if I missed anyone I'm sorry. I hope that you all have a wonderful morning and a Tuesday filled with Christmas joy!

My life has been pretty boring the past few days. I got the pink eye on Saturday night but I didn't realize it until Sunday when I woke up and my eye wouldn't open. I spent the majority of my day in the doctor's office waiting for them to see me and prescribe me the drops. By the time I finally got home, I just wanted to relax. Yesterday was basically a repeat, minus going to the doctor's office. I spent the day working, doing school work, and just taking it easy. Today (again) will be a repeat of the past two days. It's very frustrating not being able to wear my contact lenses. The bad news is that the pink eye spread to my other eye, so now I am going to have to wait even longer to put them in! I guess I can't get a break.

Thank you for your nice comments for my friend about her dog. She appreciates the kindness! :] She is doing a lot better today and her other dog is finally adapting to being the only one in the family. It's a sad story but there is sadly nothing that can be done. And thank you for the well wishes when it comes to my eye!

My mom and I were hoping to head to the mall this week, but it doesn't look like it will happen. I am going to have to be without my contacts for a few more days and she will be busy with work. This weekend we will be celebrating my grandpa's 87th birthday, so I hope I am all better by then.

I am going to make sure that I have nothing to get done for school, then I'll probably just be lazy and relax in front of the TV. Have a great day at work everyone!!

Good evening, Christmas family

Ah... So glad Monday is over. Just three more days for me this week. Then I see the doc on Friday and hopefully get rid of these allergies for a while. This past month has been absolutely miserable !!

Lots to do on Saturday if everything goes okay. Hair appointment at 11:30 then ornaments after that with my sister !! I have to make time to go through the Hallmark Ornament book and check the ones I want the most !! There is a series my sister has bought for me every year called Snowball and Tuxedo. Snowball is a Polar bear (shock !!!) and Tuxedo is of course a penguin. Every year has them doing something different !!

I am trying to start back on my diet. OH My !! It is so hard. I usually have a couple of false starts before I really get started but hopefully not.

It's next Monday and Tuesday!!!! Hopefully I'll have the schedule for it tomorrow. Monday is just going to be a few shows throughout the day but Tuesday should be a full day.

I do similar to this all the time.......Drink coffee, coffee, coffee while I am working then when I lay down for bed, sleep for just a short time then wide awake !!! I hate that !! Then I use 5 Hour Energy to start it all again !!! :-o
