MID 40S!!!!! holy guacamole! did someone say autumn?Good evening,
Just enjoying some music before bed, a little bit of everything, Christmas music, The Move, whatever I want to hear right now. Just saw on the news they are expecting temps to drop to the mid-40's tomorrow night. Brrrr before the Bers! Late work night tomorrow, first day of school for JP, busy morning ahead of me to get the boys out on time.
My thoughts are with all of those in the path of Hurricane Isaac, stay safe.
Good night all!
Congrats, but I have a secret.. they aren't the only ones that like you!FINALLY!!!!! After a 3 year pay raise freeze at work I got a raise today, and a pretty darn good one too!!! More than I expected!!!! They like me they really like me!!!
Aw, I hope she feels better soon!good morning y'all, My MC peeps!
hope y'all feel bright eyed & bushy tailed this a.m.
i'm going into work in a bit, just wanted to stop in for a few.
1 &1/2 weeks into the school year & baby girl (16, but still my baby) is sick already. this happens every year but not usually so early in. for a few days now she's been saying she didn't feel good & was cold all the time. she came home yesterday, in 90 degree heat, & put on a hoody, sweat pants, & slippers saying she was freezing. last night after i went to sleep, hubby told me, she got sick & was throwing up. i tried to get her up this morning but instead i just gave her some meds & put her back to bed. i get off @ 1 today & we may end up @ the dr.'s office.
SOLICE, i hope today finds you better....if not, like cm3 asked- is it possible for you to go to a doctor? get well my friend!
y'all have a good one!
hahaha I will indeed get on that then!If you could do that for me it would be awesome! Something about trying to ship it here. I think heat miser was trying to stop it or something.
AWWWWWWWW He is so cute!I dropped JP off for his first day of 2nd grade this morning. He was so excited to go.
Here is a picture of him right before we left. LC is destroying things in the background.

what! 90 degrees!!!!!! yowch. thats a scorcherGood Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy with a high of 90 degree's. I've been watching the hurricane coverage all morning and praying for the people south of New Orleans where the levee's have been over-topped. My water has been off all morning so I'm hoping that they get the leak at the front of my apartment complex fixed soon. I have stuff to do but I need water to do them. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
DUN DUN DUNNNNNNNNNNAnd here are a couple of pictures of the changing leaves on our Maple Tree. Notice the moon! Fall's a comin!
Welcome back!Good Afternoon, MMC!
I've been away for @ week, and I'm just catching up here.
Hope you're doing well~
Sending Christmas thoughts & prayers out to you all.
Happy Pines Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!! She is ... good.. Really pushing my buttons hahhaha but I love her. The little beast is fast asleep right now, thank heavens..mommy needed a breakI hope you are better soon, Britt! Good luck on getting the Dept. Manager position! How is London?
OUCH!! Hope those heal quickly!!Well, I learned that hot oil and feet do not go together.
I was taking chicken out of oven and not paying attention to what I was doing. Hot grease spilled from the pan onto my foot. The good part is I had on my crocks, so most of it was deflected. These two spots are where 2 holes in my crocks are.
So glad I had those on! Quickly took them off and plunged my foot in cold water and still got these blisters.
This is so funny, Britt. I just re-read your post and saw that it was a 40 cent raise and I initially read it as a 40 percent raise!!!
We just returned from Redding where the smoke is so heavy from the fires. Many people were wearing those face masks like surgeons wear. I can understand why. My eyes were red, watery, and itchy within minutes of getting out of the car. I did not have a good visit with the plastic surgeon today. I had called him on Monday to renew my prescription for pain meds. I had been taking two Norco 10-325 every 4 to six hours. Before surgery, I was able to hold out for the six hours if I made myself. After surgery, his prescription was made for one 10-325 every 4 to six hours. That did not even get close to the pain, so I just went back to the prescription that worked far better than that. I called on Monday for a refill and he changed the prescription to ONE 5-325 every six hours. Today I told him I was still in tremendous pain (I still had the drainage tubes in and could hardly move without experiencing painful spasms from the many, many stitches. His prescription was a joke. I told him I wanted enough pain meds to get to the point of no pain and then to continue on the lowest dose in order to taper off rather than experience withdrawals. His reason for changing it to the lowest dose possible was that he said I should not really be in any pain. I have stitches and swelling from the middle of the front of my chest to the middle of my right shoulder blade on the right and from the middle of the front of my chest to almost the middle of my left shoulder blade. You would not believe the continuous bruise that is on my right side under my breast, running from the middle front to the middle back. He personally told me he does not believe in radiation, so I am wondering if that has colored his judgment. In addition, I told him I would NOT be completing the reconstruction with implants, that I would just go flat-chested! I came close to asking him to allow me to give him a bilatertal mastectomy and prescribe the minimum amount of pain meds available! Somehow, I don't think that would go over very well. Sorry for my pain-ridden rant!!!

I am through dealing with the bosses at work, I will just say I have contacted the state about possible law violations. Back there first thing in the a.m. which should be "fun."
