Well, I learned that hot oil and feet do not go together.
I was taking chicken out of oven and not paying attention to what I was doing. Hot grease spilled from the pan onto my foot. The good part is I had on my crocks, so most of it was deflected. These two spots are where 2 holes in my crocks are.

So glad I had those on! Quickly took them off and plunged my foot in cold water and still got these blisters.

Good afternoon/evening mmc friends
how have you all been this past few days .
The weather here has been rain and some sun but not really warm
Had a nice weekend was really wrecked
And we have out festival yerterday which was very good , but at 7am it was raining and we thought it was gonna be a wash out and at 1pm the rain was beating down but then it dryed up and was a nice afternoon
Was hard work but it was worth it and now in a few weeks we meet to get the christmas one sorted. we decided that we are having a international food market, and a santa, grotto. for the switching on of the town lights so we have a meeting with the local council funding dept to see how much money we can get out of them to help

Hey everyone! So yes, I didn't have time to get caught up on the posts again today - was another busy day here, plus I was just so tired for some reason.

Tomorrow, EA has her part of preschool orientation. I have to go to that an hour or so after I get home from work, then I will go to bed and then I work tomorrow night yet, but I have 3 day weekend to look foward to!

Wow, we really got some rain yesterday! My yard is still under water. I guess that means the bahiagrass will jump up 12" today.

Nancy took her mom to the doctor yesterday. Mrs. Hilda said she'd had some chest & back pains the night before. Since my, ah, issue last month, everyone is very aware of chest pains these days! Luckily, it seems her gall bladder is giving her some trouble. The doctor didn't find any other problems and can handle this without difficulty, thank goodness. Nancy was on the verge of a nervous breakdown at the mention of chest pains.

I think i have a wal-mart run in my schedule tonight. Keep me in your thoughts!

enjoying the quiet right now, well not totally quiet, i have a christmas music video dvd playing right now. I just really wanted to hear something christmassy and not have to search on youtube for it. I have to leave for work in less than 90 minutes, but i got my next 3 days shirts pressed and ready to go. I actually have saturday & sunday off this upcoming weekend, work monday at time and a half, and then have tuesday off.

good afternoon everyone!

Happy 'pines day! We have reached the middle of the week, once again. There are only a few more days remaining in august, and the weather is certainly making that evident. We're at about 20c here in ottawa, but the nw winds are bringing in a fall chill. I like summer, but i'm not complaining. Still, the weather for this upcoming labour day weekend does look beautiful! Temperatures in the sault should reach about 30c. Perfect for swimming on the north shores of lake huron!

A few things planned for today. I have my second - and hopefully final - physiotherapy appointment at 1:40. Hopefully the inflammation has disappeared enough in my patellar tendon. It would be nice to return to the field in at most two weeks. I am targeting next thursday, but we'll see after i receive my results today. Not being able to play, practice or properly train is difficult. I miss everything, especially my regular squatting, deadlifting, cleaning, etc. Routine in the gym.

I hope everyone has been enjoying their week thus far. September is just around the corner. We're about to say goodbye to another beautiful summer and head towards those "ber" months.... Of course, these months keep lowering the count to our ultimate goal. The christmas season and christmas day will be here soon!

Work went well today. Everything i needed to get done did and no problems with the computer - yay! I even managed to get to an estate sale ~ i so wish i had made it there when it first opened ~ lots of goodies i could have used for the store and they were practically giving the items away.

good afternoon/evening, mmc! How is everyone's week going? I need to catch up on posts! I haven't had time to post since monday morning. Kind of disappointing since i love logging in and seeing how everyone is/replying to you all!

I started back at college on monday. My classes seem to be pretty decent overall. Only one class seems like it will be very difficult. I already have a paper and a project that are due at the end of this weekend. Another class seems like the material will be alright, but my teacher is foreign so it is very hard to understand him. The first ten minutes or so, none of the words out of his mouth actually registered. Know how charlie brown's teacher sounds? It was just like that - i didn't comprehend a thing. Hopefully i can get used to it. So far, i have six assignments to work on. I think it's a lot for the first week of school - especially since today is only wednesday!

Other than that, nothing new here!
