Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be hot and humid today. You can defintely tell that a tropical system is on it's way. It looks like we will see any where from 2 to 6 inches of rain this weekend. Should be fun. It's also causing my alleriges to go crazy today. So I'm going to take some meds and head back to bed. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope the meds sort out the alleriges take care.

Good morning everyone,I will be off until at least Monday. Kim and I fly to the Sault for the long weekend tomorrow morning. It will be her first time in a plane, so I am kind of excited to see her reaction. I'm sure she will freak out a little. Then, as soon as we touch down, it's off to home and then my camp (or cottage) for a couple days. The forecast still looks quite promising. It will be great to be out on the north shores of Lake Huron, once again.

We would not normally drive so far for a 3 day weekend, ( 7 hours), but my Mom wants the family to go and it could be her last beach trip. It is only a 4 hour drive for my brother's family and Dad & Mom. Weather is supposed to be nice.

I had a million X-rays and Bloodwork done today - gots some pain meds and now to wait ... And try to think positive

We would not normally drive so far for a 3 day weekend, ( 7 hours), but my Mom wants the family to go and it could be her last beach trip. It is only a 4 hour drive for my brother's family and Dad & Mom. Weather is supposed to be nice.

It is forecast to be a stormy weekend here in the mountains as we catch part of Issac. No complaints, our area needs the rain and we will be away at the beach.

Have a great weekend everyone as we move to the 'ber' months, the best time of the year.

We continue to pray for you Seawaters.

I'll trade you a trip to Tybee Island for a trip to the Smoky Mountains! :smile:

Meceka, I know I have asked before but I guess those kitties never came back? I had an outdoor stray cat that came up missing nearly a year ago and still miss him! We have so many come and go but this little guy was special. I wish I was allowed to bring him in but I rent my home. Reached my pet limit. =(

CAH, none of the cats turned up again. I feel for you over the missing cat ~ I miss mine, too! Thank you for asking about my fur kids! {{{hugs}}}

I left work about 15 min early, it was all I could stand. Limping for the last few hours, even took some pain meds and it did not help. I have to work an 8 hour shift tomorrow so I sure hope it settles down by morning!

Good afternoon, MMC!

I have been busy all morning prepping tomatoes and zucchini for freezing and prepping cherry tomatoes for drying. I still have a basket to do, but they can ripen a day or so yet. With the drought, the tomatoes fall off the plants and they still need to ripen quite a bit. It is supposed to start cooling down tomorrow - yay! I want to get back to baking. I really miss that in the summer.

Lots to do yet, but I wanted to check in on my lunch hour. I have to clean the kitchen up a bit and then I'm going to work.
