I left work about 15 min early, it was all I could stand. Limping for the last few hours, even took some pain meds and it did not help. I have to work an 8 hour shift tomorrow so I sure hope it settles down by morning!

Caninemom, I saw a Christmas Tree at Hobby Lobby I want really bad!!! It's lightly flocked with red berries on it and pine cones. I just went on their website and they do have a 40% off coupon and the trees will probably have a 50% sale sometime. Keep us posted if you get one!

The doctor did NOT call in a prescription so I went to my regular doctor and told her the situation. I told her how he had decreased my meds and then how he asked me if I want something stronger. I had told him no, I just want the regular prescription. When my regular doctor saw my bruises and all the stitches, she said, "We are going to fix this today!" I told her that I thought the other doctor was mad because I was not going through with the breast implants and was mad about missing out on all that money!!!

Really hope your in less pain this morning ~}

Just seen loads of children in their school uniforms heading off to school. I always feel sorry for them, because I hated the first day back to school. On the plus side It's my first big marker to Christmas!

I kept my granddaughter last night while my son in law and daughter took my grandsons to the Cowboys game. The stadium is awesome and it was their first time to go there. My grandson's reaction was priceless and he said, "It looks like magic"! That place really does. It impressed me when I went.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's going to be hot and humid today. You can defintely tell that a tropical system is on it's way. It looks like we will see any where from 2 to 6 inches of rain this weekend. Should be fun. It's also causing my alleriges to go crazy today. So I'm going to take some meds and head back to bed. Good morning everyone,

I was awake a little early this morning. Even though I haven't worked in a few weeks, I can't find myself sleeping in past 9:30. It's disappointing, as I really enjoy sleep, but there are things to do, after all.

The weather isn't very nice today. A breeze has settled-in - though not as much as yesterday - and there is a bit of rain. I was hoping to ride my bike to meet my former - and soon to be current - colleagues for a goodbye lunch, as one of them is taking a position elsewhere, however, I think that will be a gametime decision.

We had our first practice in preparation for the fall season last night. I still cannot participate in practices. However, I was able - for the first time this month - to jog around the practice field. No pain, either! Now, I can't wait for next Thursday when I can participate in warmups. Also, I may give my knee a little more training this weekend at my cottage. I think a nice, short jog will be in order there, too. Things are finally looking up!

Well, unless I post sometime later today, I will be off until at least Monday. Kim and I fly to the Sault for the long weekend tomorrow morning. It will be her first time in a plane, so I am kind of excited to see her reaction. I'm sure she will freak out a little. Then, as soon as we touch down, it's off to home and then my camp (or cottage) for a couple days. The forecast still looks quite promising. It will be great to be out on the north shores of Lake Huron, once again.

Good Afternoon, friends~

Only one more day to get through before the weekend is officially here! Yay!!!

I have some excellent news I'd like to share! My husband (Adrian) & I are moving back to the midwest at the beginning of next year.

He is being relocated for his job. His boss wants the charity that he is director of to have more of a centralized home base. He has homes in Nebraska & Wisconsin. And his foundation has released new food products that are being produced in Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. Proceeds of the sales go towards the charity. Adrian will be heading up the marketing of them.

We are very excited, it's a wonderful opportunity for him! And for us! Our families are back there as well =)

Can you say FOUR SEASONS?!?! We'll have snow at Christmas again!

My head is all over the place! Overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, excited! It's all happening very fast. But, it's fabulous news overall! We've wanted to get back for a long time.

We recently sold the house, and are renting until we move this winter. I will be going to Wisconsin to look at homes to rent in November. Adrian's two big charitable golf tournaments are in September & November, and they keep him extremely busy. I'll be doing a lot of the packing & preparing on my own. I'm already tired just thinking @ it, lol.

Plus, I also want to take some online classes during this time. =]

I turned in my resignation last Friday. I gave them four weeks notice.
It was kind of difficult, because I've been with my company for over six years. But, it's time to go... The future is looking bright!

Happy Friday everyone. We are headed to Myrtle Beach for Labor Day weekend. We would not normally drive so far for a 3 day weekend, ( 7 hours), but my Mom wants the family to go and it could be her last beach trip. It is only a 4 hour drive for my brother's family and Dad & Mom. Weather is supposed to be nice.

It is forecast to be a stormy weekend here in the mountains as we catch part of Issac. No complaints, our area needs the rain and we will be away at the beach.

Have a great weekend everyone as we move to the 'ber' months, the best time of the year.
