Good afternoon! Hope all is well with everyone! All is here! I'be had a little nap, now I'be got to clean, clean, clean and then go grocery shopping today.

Tonight is movie night and we will be watching Lion King 2. I also plan on decorating for fall this evening. I won't do the outside for another week and half or so.

Good Afternoon, friends~

Only one more day to get through before the weekend is officially here! Yay!!!

I have some excellent news I'd like to share! My husband (Adrian) & I are moving back to the midwest at the beginning of next year.


He is being relocated for his job. His boss wants the charity that he is director of to have more of a centralized home base. He has homes in Nebraska & Wisconsin. And his foundation has released new food products that are being produced in Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota. Proceeds of the sales go towards the charity. Adrian will be heading up the marketing of them.

We are very excited, it's a wonderful opportunity for him! And for us! Our families are back there as well =)

Can you say FOUR SEASONS?!?! We'll have snow at Christmas again!

My head is all over the place! Overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, excited! It's all happening very fast. But, it's fabulous news overall! We've wanted to get back for a long time.

We recently sold the house, and are renting until we move this winter. I will be going to Wisconsin to look at homes to rent in November. Adrian's two big charitable golf tournaments are in September & November, and they keep him extremely busy. I'll be doing a lot of the packing & preparing on my own. I'm already tired just thinking @ it, lol.

Plus, I also want to take some online classes during this time. =]

I turned in my resignation last Friday. I gave them four weeks notice.
It was kind of difficult, because I've been with my company for over six years. But, it's time to go... The future is looking bright!

Thanks Meceka!!! A few doses of benadryl and some excedrin migraine have helped. Of course, they just mowed the grass in my apartment complex so that will probably cause them to go crazy again.

i sure did miss y'all! i know i was only gone for about a day & 1/2 but that's just too long. lol

MerryCarey, how's the bike riding going? I hope Wayne and I can get our bikes soon!

Only fair ... my leg muscles wear out after only a few minutes, and even mild inclines are tough to crank through. But it's still nice to be able to breeze around for a few minutes! I hope you can get your bikes soon, too! I'm sure you'll be covering more ground than I am!

Late Friday hello. Slammin' day at work; the office closed at 1 p.m. but I wasn't done until 2:45. Got home and was just sitting down to finally eat some lunch when Mr. came in. He's just getting over a bad cough, so he took a bottle of cough medicine along today. Some yahoo on the train home slammed into him so hard it burst the bottle and soaked everything inside his commuter bag with Robitussin. I also had a couple sad, unpleasant chores to do this evening. Hoping the weekend looks better.

Thanks for all your prayers---my friend in New Orleans only suffered a little shingle damage on her roof, but other areas are suffering so with the flooding.
