On my way home my neighbour was out decorating his yard for halloween and it's awesome! Mine is pretty good but his has me beat..I love to see people decorate for the little kiddies to come around on halloween night to get candy...my first year here not too many people decorated but now almost all the ppl do! I can't wait until they get finished I will take photos and post them here

Hello! I hope everyone is doing well and I also hope none of you guys are freezing. Seriously, it's getting really chilly out here. By the way, I recognized that leaves started falling down of the trees and it means that fall is definitely here. :] Today's best news is that a fieldtrip to Whitelee Windfarm at the end of this month was confirmed by my lecturer earlier today. It's SO great! I can't wait for the trip! ^^ I'm off now to get some work done before sleep time. :> Have a good day/evening everyone!

My vacation time for the week after Christmas was approved, so I will be off from 12/25-1/2/13 I was shocked it got approved, since they have been so adamant against vacations in December for the last year or so. I am so ecstatic about that right now.

That is great news! Congrats! We are the same way at work. We can't take off over the holidays like that. It stinks, but it's understandable.

Man, I love reading about Thanksgiving from my northern friends! Awesome! Taker, the picture of William was so funny! Christmasstar, you day sounds almost like ours...you just didn't have any football...but you had a lot better food! I'm so happy for y'all and jealous at the same time! I can't wait for ours.

Our Thanksgiving dinner was so good. The mushroom bread pudding was a real surprise; even Hubby liked it. I think the roasted cauliflower was my favorite. The fingerling potatoes with bacon cream was very tasty; so was the mesquite-grilled turkey. Definitely a "do-again."

My 3 year old granddaughter and I watched, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, yesterday. At the part where Snoopy makes the dinner consisting of popcorn, pretzel, jelly beans and toast, she says, "I want to have dinner with them"! I told here we would have that sometime. I do plan to have that for them and watch the show at the same time. Not to worry, that will not be their lunch! It's just a snack after they eat a healthy lunch!

oh com'on now one day of junk food can't be that bad.... com'on pretty please LOL

My 3 year old granddaughter just came over and started talking about trick-or-treating. I asked her if I could go trick-or-treating too. She said, "when you get little, you can go"! I asked her, "when will I be little again"? She said, "on Monday".

Watch out everyone, I will be little on Monday! Yay!This should be fun!

Good afternoon all.! IT's turned out to be a great day weather wise..cloudy and 62F still the same temp it was this morning at 6am! it's so good to finally have some fall weather!!!! In the past weeks things have been so busy I think I forgot to mention to you guys that I found out I am getting tranferred to Utah in June!! so that means snow snow and more snow!!! I have to do more research on the part we will be living at Ogden about 30 miles north of Salt Lake City!! Elevation 4000ft! so yes fall color 4 seasons...cold winters...ahhhhh!!!

GDawg, how cool is that, I don't know if you have been there but Salt Lake City is amazing. If you are into hiking I can tell you some OUT of the world places to go, you won't even believe you are in the US!!!Best of luck, moving with two little ones is tough, we will be here for you!

Wow that was cool thx Xmas I think I am going to show hubby he would like this. We finally got NFL Newtork here, our local Cable Provider and them were at "war" I live in a condo where no dishes allowed!!! I am in love with this channel I love all the specials and we ordered NFL Redzone it has to be the absolute coolest thing!!!

Well B. just got home from school and she had a tough day. the first day back after a long break is rough..I am taking her at 5 to get a manicure/pedicure,and will pick up dinner while I wait on her to get done. Im thinking it's going to be a hamburger night tonight! It's going to get down into the 50's tonight FINALLY...every year it seems to take longer and longer for the cool air to arrive,but maybe it's here. It's going to be another busy week here,but by friday I will be able to decompress a little...Have a good night everyone!

hi everyone,

weather is beautiful in the north of england. sunny, but very crispy and cool, the leaves have changed to beautiful colours, and you can smell bonfires in the air.

i really love autumn, my dream is to visit new england in the fall one day, i believe it's beautiful. i'll get there one day....

christmas is creeping in all the shops, and if i'm correct then christmas advertisments should start on the TV in the next two weeks (going off the dates from last year)

Annual inspection here where I live. (they go through everyone's place to make sure we are not trashing it and to see if any repairs need doing) This insures that every home in the complex is clean at the same time at least once a year! LOL

I am chilled tonight, had a nice hot casserole made out of left over turkey dinner stuff. Nice and hot and good!

I have been lucky to get that week off many times in the past, I treat it as our ultimate family week. Enjoying the season with the people I love more than anything in the world is the best Christmas present I can receive. (Even if the boys drive me bonkers sometimes) cheesy
