Jamie Lee Curtis is playing in this episode of Navy CIS.....darn....I hope I will be that good looking at 54....yes I know make up and everything....but she looks fine....I love her and Mark Harmon together....they got a great on-screen-chemistry!!!!!

I like her a lot I loved True Lies she was AWESOME!!!

this is a chocolate cake with caramel filling.

This cake is so amazing... I would say I would feel horrble to cut a peice and eat it but CS you put Chocolate & caramel together I would just have too!!! Really it is a master piece though you really are a wonderful baker

The kids are about to bomb our house for the rest of the night trick or treating...we are ordering pizza and have the bags ready..just wanted to wish everyone a spooky Happy Halloween! The original Halloween movie is on AMC right now too!!! it's such a great movie!

went to my doc appt this morning & he was in surgery & had been all night. had to reschedule. friday @ 1p.m. oh well....

i made a big pot of vegetable soup for supper. got some candy & treats for us here @ home tonight. we were gonna go to my rents to see all the trick or treaters but they aren't giving out candy this year. bummer!

i thought we could hang out here & watch a movie together. hope y'all have a nice evening!:boo:umpkin::frankenstein:

Hi everyone!!! I know, I know, but I've had no power, no where to connect to let you all know how things where going. I just went back to work today, I am at the Starbucks by my house now, they have power!!! It is crazy, I just hope everyone else who was touched by this is OK.

Still no power at home, work is up but I haven't even time to each my salad, but our email & phones are still down at work. We are using walkie talkies to communicate!!!

LB - I'm so glad to see you post! Even if you are stinky & in need of a hot shower. Ha ha ha! (just kidding!) Sounds like some crazy times in your area. Glad you are safe!!

I have a secret weapon. My dryer. I just do a load of laundry and the dryer heats up the apartment. Plus the neighbor on each side of me have theirs on so it keeps we warm.

I can't wait until November first to listen to Christmas carols. I am officially starting now. It's November first somewhere, right?!

Oh Holiday I haven't fully caught up hoping you & your family is safe... and how is the kitty???? Did it get a home??? Is it with you???

The kitty is here with me! Safe so far! It really is a sweet kitty & I wish I could keep her. BUT she is going to my friends farm. It shocked me this morning - my hubby let her in the house! She has been sleeping in the garage. I have her food & littler box out there. It's still warm in our garage. Anyway - he said he let the cat in this morning & my jaw about hit the ground! Tee hee!

It is the little things, with no power hubby and I are still having a ball together, we have mastered the game of crazy 8's, I still suspect him of cheating but he says innocent until proven guilty, I just may have to without desert!!! LOL

We may have. I would have been 7 in 1965. It was a Friday night tradition until my wife and I moved away in 1987. We usually go to Twin Tops when we go back 'home' to see our parents.

I'm thinking about watching a Christmas movie tonight - hubby is bowling the next TWO nights! They didn't bowl last week so they have to make it up. Soooo, that sounds like a GREAT opportunity for me to watch CHRISTMAS movies & crochet!!! :grin:

I just got back from a quick walk through Carl's Pumpkin Wonderland. Free pumpkin spice latte at the door and then the real fun begins: a cornstalk maze, lit carved pumpkins where you least expect them to be displayed, scary music to heighten the mood. My favorite part was the giant pile of leaves you absolutely had to jump into and throw up handfuls into the air ~ it was a great way to start the day! Got to love that Camel and how much he loves the holidays!!!

I know !!! Wasn't it wonderful !!! I especially liked that Santa's Polar Bears were there !!!!! What a surprise when I saw them back in the corner trying to playfull hide from me !!! xoxo

Boy do I love Halloween! All three little ones woke up in a frenzy because they know what they are doing tonight. All of our public schools are off today for a teacher workday and many of our neighbors had their kid's friends over for sleepovers last night. We know this because we heard the parties going on in several backyards close to us.

I do feel for the teachers tomorrow having to deal with exhausted kids suffering from sugar hangovers.

Awwww....They sound adorable !!! Nothing quite as magical as when it is seen through the eyes of a child !! xo

22 years ago today I was spending time at Parkland Hospital with my very ill infant son. He was there several days and on Halloween he was feeling a lot better. The hospital had Trick-or-Treating for the kids who were in the hospital by going door to door to different rooms for candy and toys. I decided to join in with my son. A lady in the bed next to us went ahead and joined me with her infant son. We were the only ones who took our baby on that Trick-or-Treating round. I wasn't going to have my son miss out on his first Halloween adventure! I had a costume already and we were suppose to go out for real along with my daughter but he got ill and had to miss out on that so we had to make the best of it in the hospital. Here I was carrying him and rolling around his IV next to him. It was fun to see the other kids having fun. Of course my son don't remember it but at least I have the memory of taking him and he knows he got to go. I always try to make the best out of every situation and glad we joined in on that little bit of fun! It has always been a very fond memory of mine that I thought I would share with you all.

Not a whole lot is new here. Kim somehow threw out her back yesterday. She works at a community centre and was all excited to be a part of the Haunted House tonight for the kids. Unfortunately, I highly doubt that she will be leaving our couch. She couldn't even walk to bed last night! .

never understood why anyone would want to throw out a perfectly good back!? LOL, hope she feels better soon.
