Good afternoon,

Watching the Bengals-Broncos game, spent this morning cleaning, wife made cookies, and we listened to Christmas music for hours, my wife asked for me to play Christmas music! I was shocked, she has complained about me playing Music Choice the last few days. We even listened to it while we were carving pumpkins for trick or treating tonight. Which starts in 40 minutes.

I saw this on TV today, too. Such a great commercial. Correct me if I am wrong, Star, but I believe this is the first time in a few years that I have noticed Canadian Tire using the word "Christmas." I seem to recall them using the word "Holidays" previously.

Oh my word I am trying to catch up!!! Hello Christmas family! how's your weekend going?

Ours is fine got back from Church, checked out mine and Michelle fb page and now out 10 yr old is singing "Mele Kalikimaka" LOL

man the Christmas spirit is coming out everywhere!!! they put up our "candle" at the end of our street the day before halloween!! the kids was so happy to see it! and can Y'all believe in 2 short weeks our youngest will be 4?!?!?!? I remember telling a few of you when we found out we was expecting him! time is flying and it seems this year has flew by and with the past 6 months, I sure hope 2013 will be better!

well all its almost time to go back to church I should be back later on hope the rest of Y'alls day is merry and bright!:merry:

I noticed one of my neighbors up on his roof hanging lights. It must be that time of the year. Mine will be going up as soon as I can my son to help me.

Wish I could take off from work!! I'm just now leaving for the day. Bleh.
I saved four days to take off during the holidays---two Friday-Monday pairs. I timed them so I don't have a single five-day week between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Kinda wish they'd hurry, but I don't want to wish the season away.

what up in the MMChood?? hope everyone had a great Sunday.

me & mine got all the Christmas done....well most of it anyway! we decided to put out our Christmas village this year. it's been put away for many years due to space but yaaay we found the perfect spot. we have an opening above our fireplace/gas logs that hubby USED to put the tv, that is of course, until he started buying them so big they wouldn't fit there any longer. hmmmmm. anyhoo me & daughter figured out just how we wanted it & got all the snow out & oohhhh, i'm so excited!!!!

do y'all ever get out your Christmas decorations & then wonder, where in the world did i put all this stuff? that's me right now. gotta figure this 1 out!
hubby has so so so so many Santas. i thought i would group them together but heck, i can't fit them all in the same place.

my niece in New Jersey got power back yesterday. my nephew there got his back 2 days ago. everyone is ok.

Apparently my Christmas tree post really, really bothered her.. Because she just posted another one about Christmas.. and how everyone that is involved in the army etc.. Finds it disrespectful to decorate prior to Remembrance day... I really didn't mean to make her so upset.... sheesh:-o

Wow, she polled everyone in the armed forces that quick????? Not to mention all the veterans everywhere? Wow! I think whenever someone starts speaking for people she doesn't know at all, that person has lost all creditability. Especially when talking about something that's a private matter, after all. (Timing of the decorating, not military service, of course!)

Topside roast beef with mash, Yorkshire pudding, carrot and green beans. Roast potatoes and gravy, with a trifle for desert. Turned out pretty good considering I'm not the worlds best cook LOL.

Good Evening, Christmas family !

A very nice day today. It was the annual Donzell's Garden Center Christmas Open House. My husband, my sister and I went together. It was so much fun and everything was just so fantastically beautiful !!!!

After we got finished looking around at the open house went to my sister's house and she and I had tea. She showed us all the ornaments she has purchased for her tree this year. I love seeing my sister like this. When we got home today I got my nativity scene set up with all its animals !! This year, as I have told you, I have a new Holy Family. I was a little worried that maybe they would not be the correct scale but they work perfectly !! Mary can actually HOLD her baby or he can be placed in his bed. I really love it. I will try to post pictures too !!

So, this is the week the special posts begin right ?? I am really looking forward to them. I am so honored to be in the company of those who did a special post this year, I only hope my special post will at least bring a smile or two.

Glad to hear your kin is ok. I have an uncle who lives In Toms River, NJ. We haven't heard anything from him yet, but hopefully no news is good news.
