Good morning everyone,
Quiet morning in here, isn't it? I will assume that everyone is still a little exhausted from celebrating the first official day/night of the Christmas Season. I know I'm a little tired. A day full of Christmas music at work, a visit to the gym and then a Christmas movie before bed. A perfect day. I allowed Kim to pick the movie, and she chose Home Alone. No arguments there. Although she wanted to watch #2, I said we had to do them in order this year. She agreed. We were very happy to watch our recently purchased Blu-Ray version. It looks great!
Today was a chilly walk to the bus. I think it might only be getting colder from here on out... It was a cold -5c (18f) this morning on my walk to the bus. Brr. Still no signs of snow, however. I think I will hold off on my winter coat until it gets a little colder. My sweater is quite warm for now and there isn't any snow in our forecast just yet.
My dad phoned last night and he is apparently coming to visit for the weekend. I'm excited. He had initially planned to come last weekend, but he traveled a lot the previous weekend and wanted to unwind. I don't blame him. I think he drove about 30 hours! Our plans are a little suspect right now considering there is no hockey on TV. We usually watch a game a night when he's here. At least there is football. Maybe we'll go to a movie, too? We'll see...
Well, it's time to go to the 'Pines for the first time this Christmas Season. I'm excited to see Carl's decor. Despite having already celebrated Thanksgiving, I think I can enjoy counting down to a second one for everyone else. It is that delicious, anyway! Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone. But, most of all, Merry Christmas.
