Bo passed away yesterday in his sleep. Thank you to all who prayed/kept him in their thoughts!

Good evening, MMC! How are you all? I am well. Just sitting here relaxing, watching Hallmark and getting ready to make a cup of coffee.

Nothing too much new here. I had a busy night at work last night - DH had a busy one as well - they had a bad fire right at the end of his shift. It ended up begining a fatality, which it was a 3 yo. I feel so horrible for this family and the fireman and all the emergency crew. It so horrible when this type of thing happens. God Bless them and prayers. My husband seems to be doing okay today. He usually hides his emotions pretty well, which sometimes scares me.

As you probably saw in my earlier post, I went to EA's Thanksgiving party at preschool today. It was really nice and enjoyable. I got to help serve the meal to the kids and then I got to sit and eat with her. She loved that I was there, but she always seems to get very tearful when I take her to preschool or when I stop by. The teacher says she is only like that when I take her. I am not sure what causes that. EA says it is because she wants me around - she is usually more attached to her Daddy, so who knows!

I work tonight again, so so DH, so my sister is watching the kids. She actually took them for a while to her boyfriends. I thought I would catch up here for a little while for lying down for nap.

That is so sad ~ my prayers are on the way for the family of the 3 year-old and all the firefighters and emergency crew!

Found out db has been cheating on me for quite a while... When things look up, something comes crashing down. I have never been so hurt in my entire life. Not to mention myself and his other lady friend used to be quite close...

Me and Isak was on our way out to the car
when he suddenly was throwing up!
So we are spending the day home... :grin: he with a bucket infront of him!

So it's Friday!
We are going to my niece's Birthday this weekend,
and I have to drive my girl to a basketball game Sunday morning.
Other than that, Im going to make plans for Thanksgiving and decorate more for Christmas

I think I'll have to bake some Christmas cookies todaylaying:

i cannot wait to get off work this evening. hubby is @ work & after today will be off an entire week, lucky him. i work tuesday & wednesday then i'm off until the tuesday after Thanksgiving.
i only have a little more to pick up @ the store to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner.
my baby girl is home sick today. she woke me around 1:30 last night saying she felt nauseated so i got up & got her some meds & put her to bed again. after reading this previous sentence, i realized it sounds like she's very young (she's 16) but she's still my baby! i think she has been able to sleep since then but she will stay home today.

things are moving right along, Christmas seems to come so fast after you get to a certain date, huh? i hope everyone has a fantastic day!:merry:

has anyone ever had this happen?....

last night @ the class i noticed a slight tingly feeling in my left jaw close to the back where the top & bottom of the jaw connect. felt funny, not painful. then this a.m. it felt more close to the ear canal under my ear. by afternoon my face/ear area was swollen & uncomfortable. i had hubby put warm peroxide in my ear several times & let it soak trying to open it up maybe. i have an herb pillow i put in the microwave & have laid that side on the pillow. i found some extra antibiotics in the med. cabinet & have started tasking them. i know i don't have anything wrong w/ my teeth as i just recently had a dental check up & x-rays. do y'all think it's the ear?

In the meantime, my RN wife read this and said it's either sinus infection or ear infection. She strongly recommends a trip to the ER.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! We are off to a chilly start but it's going to warm up and be a beautiful day here in central Indy. I'm going to be heading to my sisters house here in a few minutes. My niece is having a Rock Star party so I have to help lay down the red carpet on the driveway and then I have to hang the pinata. It should be an interesting day. My sister got my niece a kids drum set as part of her gift. So I see a headache in my future. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm back at Bernie's today, with breakfast in the warmer. Smells gooood!

Elizabeth's first Nutcracker performance was last night, and it was BRILLIANT!! She had the best time, and has already been talking to the people who manage the show about a larger part next year...LOL!

Not only was it my first Nutcraker, it was my first ballet, and I loved it! Well, except for the guy in the tights. Get some shorts on, dude!

Tonight, the entire family is coming, then the last performance is Sunday afternoon. They are meeting us at a restaurant to surprise her after the last show. Nancy and I had a bouquet of flowers last night, and I thought she was going to cry. LOL

Aww! Congratulations to Elizabeth on a great performance! I hope she gets a larger role next year - it sounds like she had a blast! LOL I do support the idea of wearing shorts. i hope you have fun at the restaurant tomorrow, how sweet that they are surprising her!

It is RAINY here in northern California this morning. It started last night and is really coming down! Hopefully, all the rice farmers around here were able to get the last of the rice in. I have quite a bit of work laid out for me today to prepare for tomorrow's presentation. TTYL

Hopefully the rain stops soon! I always get so sleepy when it rains for hours straight. I hope that the work goes smoothly for you and the presentation goes well!

I Have been Counting down until Christmas get's here and I sure hope that this Christmas is a Whole Lot better than the Last one was??????

I strive for each and every Christmas to be better than the last! Even though Christmas is always a blast at my house, it's something fun to try to do!

Poor Isak! I hope he feels better soon. It seems like so many people have a stomach bug. I hope Thomas had a good flight. Hmmm - Christmas Vacation is a personal favorite of mine for this time of year. It really gets me in the decorating spirit!

Good evening dear Christmas community!

I hope you had (or yet having) a good Saturday! :] Mine was pretty odd because I woke up around 5 o'clock in the morning. I don't know why but I just couldn't sleep any longer. ^^ I took a glass of water and I was reading some magazines until 8 o'clock, and then I felt sleepy. I couldn't go back to sleep at 8 in the morning. That would have been too ridiculous.

Anyway, I somehow managed to stay awake until 10 and I went to the town centre. I spent about 4 hours walking in different book shops and I must say I was happy and frustrated at the same time. Happy because there were so many Christmas novels displayed on the shelfs, and sad because I couldn't purchase them all. ^^ But I sweared to myself that someday I will have a huge library at my own place with huge collection of lovely Christmas novels and fictions.

I planned yesterday to do some reading today related to my studies but I had my lunch after I came back home and then started doing some cross-stitching of Christmas present for my godparents. Heh. ^^

Aww, it's always a bummer waking up so early during the weekend. But sometimes if you feel like getting up, you just do! LOL! Try to purchase a couple a month! That way you will have time to enjoy each one :] Have a good evening!

rjd & seawaters, thanks so much. rjd, our ER is HORRIBLE!!! i will be there all night just waiting. the antibiotic i have is 500mg. amoxicillin, i was hoping it would be ok if i take that.i'm not having pain or fever. please tell cindy & see what she says.
