Christmas Countdown - 2012

Don't worry, Little Debbie has been preparing for this. The came out with their versions of the Twinkie, Cupcakes, and Ding Dongs last year. Then here a couple of weeks ago they introduced their version of the crumb cake. So I'm sure their company executives are out partying tonight.

Just get used to say Cloud cakes(twinkie), Cocoa Cremes (Ding Dongs), and Cinnamon Streusel Cakes (Crump cakes). Cupcakes are still cupcakes though. Now they just need to come out with an orange cupcake.

Fired cloud cakes just doesn't have quite the ring of fired twinkies !! Oh well...........

The Baptist Cowboy
A cowboy, who just moved to Wyoming from Texas, walks into a bar and orders three mugs of Bud. He sits in the back of the room, drinking a sip out of each one in turn. When he finishes them, he comes back to the bar and orders three more.
The bartender approaches and tells the cowboy, "You know, a mug goes flat after I draw it. It would taste better if you bought one at a time."
The cowboy replies, "Well, you see, I have two brothers. One is in Arizona, the other is in Colorado . When we all left our home in Texas, we promised that we'd drink this way to remember the days when we drank together. So I'm drinking one beer for each of my brothers and one for myself."
The bartender admits that this is a nice custom, and leaves it there..
The cowboy becomes a regular in the bar, and always drinks the same way. He orders three mugs and drinks them in turn.
One day, he comes in and only orders two mugs. All the regulars take notice and fall silent. When he comes back to the bar for the second round, the bartender says, "I don't want to intrude on your grief, but I wanted to offer my condolences on your loss."
The cowboy looks quite puzzled for a moment, then a light dawns in his eyes and he laughs.
"Oh, no, everybody's just fine," he explains, "It's just that my wife and I joined the Baptist Church and I had to quit drinking."
"Hasn't affected my brothers though."

Yesterday was another busyt day. Started to get the trees out on wednesday and they are going good, got more in today there is a all kinds pre-lite. fibre optic.. fibre optic with led light as well
Today saturday am gonna make a start on my own decor outsde as i want all lite up for the 1st gonna try and get a biit more done during the week but mght not be able to as will have 5 pallets and outrchristmas lights go on the 24th and there is still alot to do as its seems to be me and another member that is doing the most

And tomorrow -- our last Milestone of 2012, the 90 percent marker to Christmas Day!

Warmer yesterday with lots more sun after a damp start.
It should get close to 60 by this afternoon with no more rain.
We are at 37 degrees here, currently.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! We are off to a chilly start but it's going to warm up and be a beautiful day here in central Indy. I'm going to be heading to my sisters house here in a few minutes. My niece is having a Rock Star party so I have to help lay down the red carpet on the driveway and then I have to hang the pinata. It should be an interesting day. My sister got my niece a kids drum set as part of her gift. So I see a headache in my future. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

I'm back at Bernie's today, with breakfast in the warmer. Smells gooood!

Elizabeth's first Nutcracker performance was last night, and it was BRILLIANT!! She had the best time, and has already been talking to the people who manage the show about a larger part next year...LOL!

Not only was it my first Nutcraker, it was my first ballet, and I loved it! Well, except for the guy in the tights. Get some shorts on, dude!

Tonight, the entire family is coming, then the last performance is Sunday afternoon. They are meeting us at a restaurant to surprise her after the last show. Nancy and I had a bouquet of flowers last night, and I thought she was going to cry. LOL

Good Saturday weekendy goodness morning!

Ho ho ho its the weekend! Santa Claus is coming to the mall today. I think I get more excited to see him then the kids! Watched Christmas Vacation the other night. Oh that is a good holiday movie. More and more lights are going up on houses this year. I cant seem to find a light up plastic waist high Santa. I think they have been replaced with all the blow up air things. Wish I could find one! Anyone know of a place in London Ontario that is selling them? My friend got William a Charlie Brown nativity set! AND from the HOBBY LOBBY! We don't have one in Canada so I was very happy to hear that's where she got it from! Well back up stairs I go! Coffee in hand. OH for those Londoners, 103.9 More FM is now 24/7 Christmas music. And as always MMCR is around 24/7 365! Christmas music OVERLOAD! hah. Have a wonderful Christmas weekend. I cant believe the season is here!

Hope this finds all doing well...shopping today...finishing touches on the house lights...looking at Christmas decorations....and I'm bound and determined to post some pictures on the Blossoms thread...

So I'm off....I will see everyone later tonight....I saw where tomorrow night the animated Grinch who stole Christmas comes on right ahead of The Wizard of Oz....that kinda TV takes me back to another time and place.....can't wait.

Off to work, only have to put in 6 hours today and then I am off for 3 days!!! That is until someone calls me to come in for them.

if i'm not mistaken i do believe Dawg's new baby is due right about now! hope all is well w/ the family & may God bless them all!

omgoodness, i've gotta start cleaning out stuff to make room for my STOCKPILE now. the couponing class was a big hit. i will never look @ coupons the same way. the lady did tell us to forget about the extreme couponing show...that's waaay to hard to do but we can def cut our costs 50-75%. can you believe that???! she's only been doing this for a year now & has a stockpile in 2 rooms & an extra bathroom. it's crazy easy & she is so organized in her methods so it makes it easy to do myself. now to just find the extra space. since it must be climate controlled my hubby's shop is off limits. bummer!


daughter is feeling better & getting her appetite back now. i tell ya', if it's out there that girl is gonna get it. bless her heart!

gonna go cut coupons now, yaay me!
