It's strange to have the temperature in Ottawa be warmer than Raleigh... especially this time of year. We were near 40 this morning!
Good morning from sunny and chilly northern California. We also have a gentle breeze blowing, well, gently! I am doing some online shopping for myself since I am sending my kids money, which is what they all want! Go figure! I am sure every little bit helps. Like MerryCarey, I, too, am anticipating what the big surprise is! Hurry, hurry, hurry!!!

Considering we have south and then southwestern winds throughout the day, the system should be here by this evening. A temperature drop of nearly 12 degrees. Snow is in the forecast!
Decent promotion from Indycare... For once! Glad to see Santa could make it to the parade!The skies over Indianapolis were busy this morning, so Santa was forced to use an Indycar instead of his sleigh to get around.
I am very excited to hear the big surprise! I considered getting a platinum membership just for it... but I have to save for other things!

I have to be at work at 5 again and then into a weekend of 12 hours days! When will I learn to say no? I just keep thinking of new snow tires and more Christmas presents!

Good afternoon everyone!
It seems that the weekend is on the horizon. Well, for me anyway. To everyone partaking in Black Friday, I hope it goes well for you. I am here, working, until about 3:45. At least when I live work today it will feel a little more like Christmas. Temperatures are currently 11c (52f). That is balmy for November 23rd! This evening, however, we're down to about freezing and a few flurries are expected overnight as well as tomorrow afternoon.
It should be an interesting weekend. Kim is at her home in Cornwall celebrating her nephews' sixth birthday. They're getting old! She doesn't return until Sunday evening. Due to work, I am unable to attend. I also figured that at least one of us should attend our good friends' wedding shower tomorrow morning/afternoon, too.
As for tonight, aside from the gym, I have no plans. The good part is that I am in no rush to leave the gym today, so I'll have ample time to stretch. We'll see where the evening takes me.
Well, lunch is near. I should get a couple things done before I eat. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are now prepared to increase their personal collection and give thanks for all the new belongings next year! Merry Christmas!

Happy belated Thanksgiving everyone! I couldn't get here yesterday to wish you all that due to helping my better half preparing for our Thanksgiving day feast and cleaning the house, running errands and picking up both sets of grandpop's (ones 89 and the other is 94), etc...
But it was alot of fun and it was a grand day.... I ate soooo much yesterday and sooo many times, that when I woke up this morning, I swear, from the way my head and stomach felt, that I had a Turkey hangover..lol....
So what did I do this morning, got up, made a cup of coffee, nuked some tukey leftovers and voila, breakfast of Turkey champions.... Can't let a good bird go to waste!
I hope everyone has a good day today, for me with having the day off with pay today (company paid holiday) is a good day regardless. So, I'm going to spend it running some errands and then later do a little shopping with for/with my daughter; (daddy daughter bonding time), IE... that means that dad is buying...lol Have Fun....
