Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas family! I am so thankful for all of you and glad to be a part of this form. I'm very busy today, spending time with my family. DH is working, but will be here in an hour.

I work tonight, but I am off this weekend, so we're going to decorate for Christmas. He works night shift, but it will still be nice to have him home.

Well, Thanksgiving festivities are over. We had lunch and it was great. Plenty to do the rest of the afternoon, such as watch football, nap, and make my plan for Black Friday. Made, are you already in line?

Okay, hands up if you had to take a nap after dinner! We put on Tom Baker's audiobook of "A Christmas Carol" while lying down, and dozed off. Which is a bit of a trick, because Baker's reading is very enthusiastic. We may be heading down to the basement for some films soon. And I have enough room for a slice of that pecan pie now.

Good Thanksgiving evening, Dear Christmas family

What a very nice Thanksgiving. Dinner was delicious and tree is up though not finished. Jesus of Nazareth is being shown on one of the religious TV channels here. I can't think of a better movie to watch, especially on Thanksgiving. xo

Have a Christmassy Thanksgiving evening, dear Christmas family ! xo

One thing, though. Please pray for my Clancy. I just discovered today that one of her toes is very, very swollen and she keeps licking it.....I am really worried..............xoxoo

Good evening y'all!:hi: i hope everyone has a full belly after Thanksgiving here in the U.S.
now is the BIG kick off to Christmas! hip-hip-hooray!:???:

we had a very nice Thanksgiving. my aunt & uncle brought his Dad over. his wife passed away this year & he was alone. he was such a great addition to our Thanksgiving, such a nice man. this was the 1st time for us to meet him & he & my Daddy talked & talked. they are about the same age & have alot in common. everything was so yummy & we had lots of it.

i know alot of you are preparing for tomorrow, black Friday but not me. we are planning to stay in our jammies all day if we want & i have bought 4 new Christmas puzzles we are gonna work on & watch Christmas movies. i will do some on line shopping but i do not dare venture out to the stores.

Hubby and I went down to the Elks Lodge for Thanksgiving and they were sold out!!! So we went to a local cafe and had a wonderful meal for $14 each: turkey, stuffing, garlic mashed red potatoes, sweet potatoes with real marshmallows, broccoli, salad, bread, dessert, and wine!!! I was very impressed! I am already in my pjs while Hubby is finishing watching the Dallas-Washington game. Good night, all. Praying for all!

Well I made it through Walmart (the 7 protesters didn't seem to deter people), Kmart (there was almost a riot), and Toys r us before I gave in for the night. I can say I kept the shopping on black friday (or thursday now) tradition alive though.

ugh!trying to get use to my new laptop..I'm back online and as it turns out Brandi is having to get a new one too,she had to order hers and it should be in next week. SHe had the baby on the 17th and we named him James Wade. Will call him James Im thinking. So far so good with his sleeping through the night. My in laws are down from Boston until sunday and we had a great thanksgiving. I hope everyone here did as well... goodnight and it's good to be back!
