Good evening,

I spent my day decorating outside today, which is now all done, I do have to replace a set of LED C7's. and restring my wreath but it looks good out there. We also decorated the large tree and covered the doors with the wrapping foil. We also had our own turkey dinner with all the fixin's, which turned out perfect. we slow roasted the turkey overnight, the house smelled great when we woke up this morning. I have to do some shopping online now, enjoy the evening.

Good Evening MMC!!!!! It's been a busy weekend around here. Even with 5 of us having bronchitis. I had been feeling pretty good but I'm coughing a lot more tonight. I guess I shouldn't have went with the cheaper cough syrup. So right now I'm going to kick back and enjoy the Celtic Thunder Christmas Show that is getting ready to come on PBS here. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

had a gorgeous weekend. yesterday i went to my local church christmas fair and my daughter met santa, she loved it! after that our local village held it's annual christmas tree light switch on and then we ate fish and chips, very british

today, we went to church, then came home and watched arthur christmas with my "glistening snow" christmas candle flickering in the background.

tomorrow i am having a day of christmas shopping with my mum, daughter and sister. we are also visiting santa and may stop off for a mulled wine

i am loving the build up more than ever and NEVER want it to end!

i got the keys to my beautiful dream family home on friday (well, as dreamy as it could get with my budget!) so i am about to start moving. wish me luck! i am dreading how stressful it will be, but i'm hoping with all the christmas cheer around me at the minute i won't let it bother me too much.

Good Morning! :hi: It's been nearly 2 weeks since I was here last. We have been busy having fun, I got sick and my back went out in the middle of all that fun!

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!!!

First of all Wayne and I went to Houston to see Paul McCartney on the 14th, he was fab as usual!

We had a great Thanksgiving, the very next day we headed to San Antonio for the Christmas Riverwalk Parade. We had a balcony room overlooking the Riverwalk and the hotel offered a dinner on the Terrace overlooking the parade. Food was great and we had a blast! On the way home we stopped by in Fredericksburg, Texas to "window" shop. Very nice little downtown district all decorated.

Tonight is Holiday in the Park at Six Flags. I am going to wear myself down again. I don't want to get sick AGAIN but I am having fun!

This is the first year in almost 15 years that I have not put my Christmas Tree up before Thanksgiving. Getting sick while being busy kind of put me behind but it will be up soon!

I really miss you all and have a few private message to respond to and will get to you soon! I hope to get back on here full time again. This IS the most wonderful time of the year!!!

Have a very Merry Day!!!

hey there CAH! boy we sure did miss you! sounds like you've been super busy w/ lots of fun stuff!

It's now a Winter Wonderland here in northern Michigan, too :)

Just finished trimming the tree. We went with a red/gold theme this year, and it looks quite beautiful, if I do say so myself.

oh snow...that sounds awesome!

this man's voice was as smooth as silk!

as i wrote the last week was very, very exhausting.....we had much more mail then usual....at least a hundred letters more each day with the exception of tuesday...then on monday i helped my uncle pack porcelin and glasses, since he was moving....then on tuesday i went there again to help clean his new kitchen...wednesday nothing...thursday...helping him pack boxes....and when i say helping him...it means doing it alone...since he never does anything...my dad came, too and helped...then on friday taking kandice to hockey practise, dance practise, work at home....and then on saturday....finally helping the uncle to move out and today first chilling and then doing the house, the laundry and then the decoration

i hope you soon find some time for yourself rebel.

Cookie baking today...won't get them all done, but I'm determined not to get behind this year! I usually get overwhelmed once the calendar turns to December 1st if I haven't got the tree up and the cookies made. I'm really hoping I'll take the stress level down a notch or two by being proactive in getting some things nicely completed and actually having time to savor the season!
I don't want to be a grinch!
How is everyone else handling their excitement and their to-do list?

may i ask if you freeze the cookies once you've baked them? if so, are they still soft once they thaw? i've never frozen baked stuff but would really like to so i could cut down on the work right @ Christmas.

Had a pretty relaxing Sunday. Made a sausage casserole for tea and got a few chores around the house done. Also went to the loft tonight and took down the Christmas decorations. :D This Friday is the big day. I have the yearly budget meeting all day tomorrow with our senior director which I'm not looking forward to, but once it's out of the way I can start to look forward to a few days off at the start of December. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Hope everyone has a good week.

Blah, I am still sick!!! I am so congested - especially in my throat and my ears feel clogged. I have been sick for three days now. No fun since I have to go back to college tomorrow.

So, while drinking coffee I have watched the Andy Griffith show (one of the Christmas specials), Frosty, Frosty Returns, and I'm about to start on Fred Claus.

The best TV all year is Christmas time....

I agree Coach !!! I love the Andy Griffth show where the old man is a grouch and winds up wanting to get arrested so he can be part of the celebrating. Makes me cry every time !!! I thought Fred Claus was cute !

Good morning, MMC!

I woke up to a Winter Wonderland ~ absolutely beautiful out! I have a lot to do today ~ Palmer is assisting me so I'm sure it will take twice as long to do everything

Have a MERRY day!!!

:sparkle:

(((HUGS))) to you and Palmer !!! xoxoxo She probably helps you the same way Hermione "Helps" me........xo

Good morning, MMC! I am finally caught up on the posts from this morning. I am so jealous that some of you have snow! So far, we've only had some flurries with no accumulation.

As of yesterday, the tree is not only up (as it has been since Monday), but it is now all decorated. It looks so pretty! We put 1,500 lights on it this year, which is a lot for a 7 foot tree. I am so excited to light the tree up every day!

It has been very nice to have the week off from college, but now it is going to be very busy over the next four weeks. I have a relatively simple week this upcoming week, but next week I will have a lot of presentations and big assignments due. Then I have one week of regular school after that, and then the week after is finals week. I am very disappointed that my Christmas break does not start until December 22nd. I always do all of my cookie baking the week before Christmas and now I will be busy with finals.

The only thing that will get me through the next few weeks is Christmas! I love this time of the year, it truly is the best. I love all of the movies, TV specials, and shows that are on. I record all of the holiday episodes of sitcoms like Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, and King of Queens. They are always so good!

I am going to begin kicking off my marathon of watching Christmas movies every weekend. I have so many movies to get through but not enough time!

A relaxing day ahead of me! Have a great day, everyone!

Oh Your tree sounds AMAZING !!! I added an additional 300 lights to ours so it has 900 lights !!!! Always nice to see you here, Jennifer xo

house is decorated...some small garlands...some figurines, some stockings and a small, small village....i was too tired to do it...then it hit me that next sunday is the 1st of advent....and that I need to have it decorated at least a week before that....which is today....so I did that...and then cooked some burritos....we had a good day today....but im tired...this week was hard

I hope you have an easier week, Track ((HUGS)) to you and Kandice and Stripey xoxo
