My Daddy asked me the same thing the other day about the puzzles. lol, usually i just break them apart & start a new 1. i'll keep it together a day or so 1st. my sister, b-i-l, niece, her hubby, & 2 boys live in Surfside beach, S.C. so that's where my rents are headed. their homes are about 5 houses apart & in a subdivision so they are all walking back & forth or riding the golf cart throughout the day. My hubby's parents are passed away & 1 brother & 1 sister live up north so he only has 1 brother here & we include him in all our gatherings even if it's my family getting together. he's a bachelor w/ no kids so we all try to work the holidays out for everyone. i'm really looking forward to "our" Christmas this year.
house delivered in one piece! Tomorrow night I find out if I won anything this year.
I am actually working a day shift tomorrow, what a nice change. I will be done with my second job on the 16th and while I enjoyed it I will be glad it is finished.
Now I am going to read for awhile knowing I can sleep in tomorrow if I want to .

I can't believe I forgot to buy a ticket, I kept thinking today was Tuesday and I would buy it tomorrow. :x

I finally re-strung my wreath with new lights tonight, it is the second time in 11 years I have done that. Switched the lights to LED minis, so it should last a longer time now. Back to work first thing in the a.m.

Three more days of work left then off for a week. Can't wait. Still haven't sourced a tree for Friday and I'm starting to get anxious. Don't have much time to look but I'm sure one will turn up. Well done to Christmasstar for that house, its fantastic. Have a great day people.

Good a.m. My brothers & sistas from another mother!!! how's it? got another 3 days to go till a day off & i'm trying as hard as i can to get there.
this is only the 2nd consecutive year we have had our open house @ the shop & i sure hope it's worth it. it's unreal @ the amount of work that goes into that stuff. in addition to the open house we have Cotillion this weekend. a "select group" of high schoolers that have this big dance in the winter & spring. we do their flowers & guess what? it's the day of open house, yucko! there will be over time tomorrow night, no doubt.
i've done very little shopping for Christmas. waiting on time & funds ya' know. all my kids asked for clothes so it's now a matter of finding their sizes which can be very difficult ever.
hope everyone has a wonderful day w/ lots of hugs & smiles! :razz:

Chilly yesterday, but it was sunny with no rain.
Warmer weather is expected for today, warmer yet for Friday and still warmer for Saturday (when we are getting our Christmas tree!).
We are looking at 28 degrees here right now, the coldest start so far.

All our snow should be gone by Sunday, temps going up to double digits.
Have to be at work at 10 am so getting a few things done around here before I go. When I am in those decorating competitions all my stuff takes over the kitchen, so it is nice to have that all put away and cleaned up again.
Going to do all my decorating this weekend!!! :razz:
Anyone want an old couch? Come and pick it up, its yours.
