Its really cold this morniing
Am really on a mission to get my outdoor lights finished today
So a cuppa, fire lit and get a few layers of clothing on and away i go

A Christmassy weekend to you all. I hope the bugs go away soon so everyone is feeling better.
Here's what I was doing yesterday:
Today it's warmer and foggy, so the snow is melting away. But yesterday and last night there was just enough snow to be festive, and not enough to make driving and walking difficult.

I've put up an afghan for sale---the proceeds will go to Santa's Sleigh. It's only up for sale until December 10 ... that's to give it a chance of getting to its new home by Christmas Day. (Click the link for more info.)

Good afternoon Christmas family !!!
Yesterday was just a wonderful, wonderful day and evening. My sis and I went shopping, acted crazy (was it an act ??) and just really had a great time. After shopping we went back to her house, then my brother-in-law Wes took us all to dinner. I made SURE to tell the waiter it was my sister's birthday and at the end of the meal he brought her a free dessert !!!
Later after we got the tree all decorated my sister and I settled down and watched A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim..
It is always so wonderful to have this tradition xo
It is also nice to be back home with my furkids and husband....Hermione was so glad to see me this morning (I have never been away all night) that she sounded like she was screaming when she saw me !!!
Take care, Christmas family. I guess I missed It's A Wonderful Life then ?? Shucks........
I wanted to tell you.....I lost 2 more pounds....That is 16 pounds now...Just 6 more to go.......Woot woot !!!

Another sleepless night because of the high winds. I know I got to sleep after 3 a.m. When I awoke this morning, the wind had FINALLY died down! KFC was good last night, and so was the TV-watching!
You did such a great job on the afghan, MC. And such a wonderful way to help others.
I am getting ready to put the makings for beef-barley soup in the crockpot. I normally brown the meat, onions, and the rest of the veggies in some garlic olive oil and then dump it all in. So, we will have dinner for tonight and tomorrow night! I love leftovers.
So sad to hear about the death of a KC Chiefs football player.
I have some cleaning to do, then napping, then having dinner. I hope all of y'all have a great day, even with this unseasonably warm weather. Take care, especially those of you who are sick.
