Thanks, CAH! I try to check in at least everyday or every other day. I promised myself once I had Tapatalk, it would be easier for me to check in, but I still find myself still not checking in sometimes. I pretty much find it impossible to catch up anymore, unless it's my day or weekend off. I hope to be better again, once the holidays are over.
Just do what you can do, we understand!!! I am on here a little more today than usual but there will be days that I cannot make it on here at all, especially family time. They always come first!!! Take care of yourself and make it on here when you can. We miss you but we are not going anywhere! cheesy

Uuu Uuu, there is rumors swirling that the NHL lockout is coming to an end in the next few days. I hope it is true.

Please Santa bring me hockey for Christmas!

That would be a great Christmas present!!! I hope it's true!

I love watching any sitcom that is about Christmas even if it's a sitcom I don't normally watch.

I hope you heal quickly and start feeling better soon!!!

I am the same way! As long as it is about Christmas, I enjoy it! :yahoo:

I am in so much pain :( I cracked a rib from coughing so much and so hard the past five days and nights. Today the pain in my ribs is from right below my chest/heart and wrapped around to my side and back. Ugh! Been sick since Thanksgiving.
if I recall right, I think it was Seawaters that did that last year.
Ouch, hope you heal quickly

Thanks! I agree that family time is the most important and that always comes first for as well! I miss you guys too, like crazy!

Xmas365 and I think Christmasstar had seen the Crazy Christmas Obsession show? I was actually going to get back on here to see where you saw it at. I happened to be going through my Time Warner On Demand and found the show. I actually loved the one with the lady and all her Christmas Trees! WOW!!! I know it was overdone but it was beautiful!

What I really want to see is one who has an obsession of collecting Santa Claus! I have a slight obsession of collecting that Jolly Guy and could easily get carried away. Made, how many Santas did you say you have???

Oh dear! After asking you about that, Made, I just stopped typing to count how many Santas I have out right now and counted 59 of them (some of those are Christmas Tree ornaments). I only took 1/4 of my Christmas things out this year. My closet is still full of things that I have yet to drag out. I wonder how many more Santas I have?!?!?! I never counted them before!
I used to have lots of musical Christmas items, then my girls moved out and they seem to have dissapeared. LOL

CAH,
I was going to make those cookies tonight, but I forgot we have a Lodge meeting where we will present three checks, one to each Scout group, for $739 each! Tomorrow is my last radiation treatment, so making the cookies tomorrow will be my celebration for myself!

Also, that will give me time to get some gloves for both you and Made! LOL

Good evening, friends!! Hope you're all having a Christmassy evening! I am taking a break from packing and watching The Christmas Heart. And looking forward to Rudolph later! Sending lots of hugs to you all!! xo :-P

I just found this thread and I am in love! I've only been through the first 7 days of January so far and I have already found some new favorites! Thank you!!!

Feel better soon! If I could teleport Excederin Migraine to you, I totally would!

Ahhhhh, are you serious? I try not to get too excited every time they say it might end because we've been fooled before, but I am hoping!!!

The Christmas Song A Day thread has been a long journey, I wanted to stop back in the spring, but I kept going. I am grateful I did because I have discovered so many songs I never knew that existed. I have completely enjoyed it. My favorite song I discovered was probably "Christmas Will Be 'Round Again" by Two & A Half.

The headache finally subsided after I got a catnap.

The rumors may be to good to be true, but I really hope they are true, hockey is the sport I thoroughly enjoy more than any other.

I went to Walmart's website to search for a toy for my 3 year old great nephew for Christmas. I narrow the search down to the preschool/toddler section, I see toys and selection of 2000 piece jigsaw puzzles!

2000 pieces for a toddler? I must still be an infant, I can't do a 2000 piece puzzle. cheesy

Thank you all for your well wishes! You are all very sweet :]

Despite the fact that I suffer when I move or cough, I am still vowing to enjoy my night and the Christmas season. I am so looking forward to watching Rudolph tonight! This is my favorite time of the year and this sickness will go away eventually!

Does anyone else DVR all of the sitcom Christmas episodes? It's a tradition in my house. My mom and I always record the Frasier, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, etc. and then have mini-marathons of watching some of them. Even though I watch them every single year, they never get old!

The doctor finally prescribed me some medicine. I just picked up my cough syrup and it has hydrocodone in it. It's supposed to get rid of my cough and make me drowsy so I can get some sleep tonight. Hopefully it takes the edge off of the rib pain, too!

Gonna go grab myself a snack and unwind before Rudolph! Who else is watching?!

I am not into the sitcoms too much except for Married With Children, I am big on those Christmas Crazy, Extreme Christmas Trees, and most of the documentaries that are on. I have about 30 of those recorded already with many more to come. cheesy

Watching the Grinch (Jim Carrey) on global right now.

Almost done with the decorating, just waiting for Lisa to bring over the candle lights and the tree is done.

Tomorrow is a 12 hour day for me, 6 doing demos and 6 1/2 at Subway, including training the new girl in how to close.

But for now I am just relaxing, going to make a batch of marshmallows and have a mug of hot chocolate.

Silver and Gold!!!!

I want a water gun that shoots jelly. Making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches would be a lot more fun then.

From an ad in Country Living for this month, I just ordered one of Hubby's Christmas gifts from landofnod.com His father was in the Merchant Marines and you don't find a lot of stuff related to that. So, when I saw a pillow that has a blueprint of a Merchant Marine ship, I immediately ordered it. I decided to get one for his sister also. In addition, I ordered an advent "calendar" that consists of 25 white canvas bags with the numbers one through 25 stamped in red. Here are the links so you can see:

Also, I ordered some pumpkin spice caramels from Avenue Sweets and some smoked brown sugar and smoked olive oil from the Smoked Olive. I thought I would do some foodie experiments!

It is time for the meeting so TTYT

So, the wifey said we are going to watch some Christmas tv tonight...it was going to be Rudolph and the Victoria Secret Show....

Christmas TV?

One of the two doesn't belong......I will let you pick....
