Her arthritis is doing okay but she has a nasty cough right now. She has been on antibiotics and cough medicine for the last week but it seems to be getting worse instead of better. She's allergic to codeine though so there really isn't much else they give her for it.

Don't worry about the diet!! You are fine just the way you are.

I hope your niece feels better soon. She has been through so much. Thanks for your kind comments about my diet. Xo

There's nothing worst than a loved one going through health issues. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I don't know how to thank you all enough! You're like a second family to me. I don't even bother asking my friends for prayers. People my age aren't very empathetic when it comes to health issues. I feel like I'm 21 going on 50 haha!

The sad thing is the test she needs that will show her what is going on is the last one that the doctor will send her for. The specialist that she goes to is very cold and money hungry (sorry that sounds mean). He will send her for three tests and then that one because he has done it in that order before. She could be suffering for a couple of weeks and he wouldn't care. It's a shame so many doctors are insensitive. So just keep praying for her that she's okay til the tests are done and they can figure out new medication!

Sleep well & sweet dreams everyone. I am just going to stay up for a little bit and unwind with a TV show or two. I never sleep on Sunday nights anyway - I don't know why but I never have! My grandma used to say the same thing. For some reason I just lay there and think about things and toss and turn forever.

Good night!!

She has been through so much, poor girl..

Im off to a meeting! Have a great day! cheesy

Good evening, Christmas family

Not much going on right now. I worked today as I usually do every day and it was fine. The dictators for this company are AMAZING. NO MORE GOOBERS !!! I work every day though because as an independent contractor I am responsible for paying MUCH MORE in the way of taxes as opposed to an employee. I am just now beginning to figure out how many lines I need to do in a pay period to be able to meet financial obligations. I think when I first started in August last year my former company had been so strict and uncompromising with the schedule that I went a little nuts being able to be off whenever I want....Of course when I am off I do not get paid but I am hoping that I have learned. I think I have, at least in this respect.

I blew my diet AGAIN...DANG IT. I have just a few more pounds (I thought I was at goal but no) to go and lately it seems every several days I go nuts and binge. I HATE THIS. It is what I have always done and I have never figured out WHY. Tomorrow is a new day so I will go with that.

I am glad and relieved everyone who faced that terrible Winter storm are alright.

Coach, it makes me sad you lost all your Christmas DVR programming.

Snowflake, Harlowe is such a doll baby !!! Please tell her how much her Auntie CM3 loves her.

Jennifer - I am praying for your dear mom. She certainly has been through it. xo

Made - You look so cute in that "Elmer Fudd" hat !! How is your niece with the arthitis ??

Xmas - I still hope you can find a job where you are happier.

Well, I am off to finish my latest Debbie Macomber book, 1225 Christmas Tree Lane.

(((((HUGS))))) to all ESPECIALLY:

Ella, Harlowe, Snowball, Gomez, Ophelia, Sidney, Alex, Merlin, Snickers, Victor, Daisy, Diva, Mickey, Palmer, Mouse, Bo, Chico, Meca, Alvin, Charlie, Gary, Bailey, Jerrold, Irving, Martha, Uncle Julio, Missy, Scooby, Sasha, Jacob, Cracker, Bunny B, Penny, Pocket, LuLu, Bear-Bear, Stripey, Holly, Fate Puppy (London,) Buster, Missy, Baby, Santa's Polar Bears, Sangria, O'Malley, Beau, Taz, Zema, Rizzo, Bella, Happy, Sam, Guinness, Holly Noel, Larry SR, Mama, and all furkids everywhere xoxoo

Aww thank you, Har loves her Auntie very much too!! Xo

I'm glad you're loving the company you work for now, your boss sounds like a neat lady. It's great that you're in a good routine, and know just how much you need to work, and when you can afford to take some time off, etc.! And no Goobers,,,finally! Happy for you =]

made is so right, don't worry too much @ the diet, as long as you're healthy, that's all that matters. You'll get back to it :) you're beautiful no matter what.

Ok, back to bed for me. Sweet dreams!!

Xo

How much are a dozen roses these days? I use to pay $49.99 a dozen at the florist near my ex's apartment. She loved white roses but managed to kill them in a week. So then I had to buy her more. It went that way for 5 years.

hey made, our roses arranged by the dozen is $84.00!!!! wouldn't you love to have all that money back you spent on roses? do y'all know how much chocolate that will buy?!!!

Good Morning, Good Morning!
Let's start the New Week right.

And what better way to accomplish that goal than with this revelation:
Days to the Season: 275
Days to Christmas Day: 317
Tomorrow.
I'll say it again......
TOMORROW.
We will arrive at the one-quarter mark to Christmas Season 2013.
And right on schedule.
(If you don't believe me, just take a gander at our thread post #1 chart!)

A bit warmer yesterday. Dry, too.
A harbinger of things to come today when we could proceed right on up into the 60's.
(Unfortunately, it is coming with rain.
But no matter. We can use the moisture, as the weather service has us in a moderate drought situation.)
We currently stand at a wet 49 degrees here in the capital city.

You have a Marvelous Monday, OK Folks?
(Just think Christmas and you'll do fine!)

No need to apologize for the comment on the doctor....Some of the BIGGEST divas I have ever met are doctors and male ones to boot ! I will DEFINITELY keep your mom in my prayers, you can count on it. We are so blessed to have you as part of our Christmas family ((((((Hugs))))))))

CM3, you're right! A lot of doctors, in my opinion, aren't caring like they should be. I know if I went to be a doctor that I'd have a lot more compassion for my patients than a lot of these other doctors do. Thank you 'Tis the season & Solice!

My mom was feeling better last night and was able to get some sleep. This morning she woke up as sick as can be, however, so we have to wait about 20 minutes or so until her specialist's office opens and check if they can see her. Someone this sick isn't going to be able to patiently wait weeks to get the tests done. As sick as she is, I can't even see her going to these tests. I'm pretty sure I will have to miss class today to run her somewhere. I don't mind though. The next couple of weeks are probably going to require lots of running around, so if my professors don't like it, too bad for them!

this is why I stopped doing the demo job, they did no deductions from my pay and really do not want it biting me a tax time.
I run my diet for only a day at a time, that way I get to start a new one every day!
Oh, thank you so much for the surprise in my mailbox! Love the card, you are so thoughtful. (((HUGS))))

LOL, I have done similar! I think we all from time to time forget something we planned to do and then paid for it later. Hope you get it sharpened soon.

My mom is really sick with her condition again and is going to have to go for a bunch of tests in the next couple of weeks. She is suffering a lot with her stomach right now so if you can pray for her, especially for tonight, I would really appreciate it! We thought it was just a fluke but we'll be calling the doctor tomorrow. Thanks!

I will be praying for her!

Thank goodness, no more goobers!

Don't look at it as "you blew it" on your diet. It's okay to have an off day once in awhile! Tomorrow is a NEW DAY! (Which is today). You can do it!

Of Course she do, funny beautiful girl! :-D

What?
th_smiley_faint.gif

I really hope it was a mistake... :snowball:
