LOL, Made! The loss of the old commercials would really be sad for me. I have so many videos that I recorded when my kids were younger. When I (used to) show them at school, the students would get a kick out of them. One in particular showed a mom and her son standing at a mailbox with the mom telling the son, "We'll wait for an invitation." At the beginning of the school year, when the kids were being loud, I would say, "I'll wait for an invitation." At Christmas, when they saw that commercial, they laughed out loud and said, "That sounds like you, Mrs. Waters!"
And you are wise beyond your years, too, Jennifer. I think we all feel the same way about our family here. Disney has nothing on us. THIS is the most magical place on earth!

Haha, CM3. When I started reading this, I got to the word "dictators" and did a double-take! Then I finished reading, LOL! Glad you no longer have any GOOBERS, that you are "gooberless."
Good evening, Christmas family
Not much going on right now. I worked today as I usually do every day and it was fine. The dictators for this company are AMAZING. NO MORE GOOBERS !!! I work every day though because as an independent contractor I am responsible for paying MUCH MORE in the way of taxes as opposed to an employee. I am just now beginning to figure out how many lines I need to do in a pay period to be able to meet financial obligations. I think when I first started in August last year my former company had been so strict and uncompromising with the schedule that I went a little nuts being able to be off whenever I want....Of course when I am off I do not get paid but I am hoping that I have learned. I think I have, at least in this respect.
I blew my diet AGAIN...DANG IT. I have just a few more pounds (I thought I was at goal but no) to go and lately it seems every several days I go nuts and binge. I HATE THIS. It is what I have always done and I have never figured out WHY. Tomorrow is a new day so I will go with that.
I am glad and relieved everyone who faced that terrible Winter storm are alright.

Specialist called back, finally. My mom might have to be admitted to the hospital.
She has to go for blood work, an x-ray, and be put on steroids this afternoon. I am going to go with her for the x-ray, so I will post an update soon. Prayers please that she doesn't have to be admitted!

I think we might be going up to your area this weekend. Nancy has to stay home to help her mom, but my mom, the kids and I might go up for a little snow fun!
I just hate going on a trip without my wife. :-(

I didn't get a chance to check in this weekend, and I feel like I've been away for a month!
I worked 6AM to 7:30PM at Bernie's on Saturday, and let me tell you, my dogs were barking when I finally got home! Jacob spent the day fishing and paint-balling with some buddies, and Elizabeth was invited to go with some friends to the ballet and dinner in Savannah. Nancy stayed home & cleaned house, so we were all beat Saturday night.
Yesterday afternoon we took Bernie to Sam's Club to pickup some supplies for the store. That's about it for my weekend. I hope to work on the car some more this week.

If the weatherman is right, you are picking a great weekend. Highs in low 30s and lows in low teens with light snow. Hopefully we get enough to make snow cream.

When I went to visit Adrian in Las Vegas, to see if I would want to move there, he swooned me by taking me to some of the most romantic places! One of the first stops was the Bellagio, to the flower gardens, then to watch the water Fountain show. Andrea Bocelli's "time to say goodbye" was the first song that evening. So beautiful! We even had it played by our friend at our wedding.
