Good afternoon, Christmas friends!

Harlowe and I ventured out in the slushy snow and ice to go on an adventure. What an adventure it was!! We were drenched but it was fun!

Just had a late lunch of tomato soup and salami cheese, two of my favorites!!

Now it's time to buckle down and study.

Blue, cloudless skies here in northern California this morning. I just love coming to my favorite place on earth! I have been reading a book entitled Proof of Heaven written by a neurosurgeon after he suffered a devasting disease. It is so good that I cannot put it down! So, I will continue to read for a while and TTYL.

When I went to visit Adrian in Las Vegas, to see if I would want to move there, he swooned me by taking me to some of the most romantic places! One of the first stops was the Bellagio, to the flower gardens, then to watch the water Fountain show. Andrea Bocelli's "time to say goodbye" was the first song that evening. So beautiful! We even had it played by our friend at our wedding.

Wow, Adrian is a pretty smooth operator! He should give advice to we romantically-challenged. :wink:

He was pretty smooth, lol. After that, he took me to the Venetian for a gondola ride, the guys sing Italian love songs as they take you through the "canal" it was funny, we complimented our guy and said he had a beautiful accent, and his response was "thanks, it was hard to learn for a guy born & raised in Iowa!"

Tee he he!!!!

Specialist called back, finally. My mom might have to be admitted to the hospital.

She has to go for blood work, an x-ray, and be put on steroids this afternoon. I am going to go with her for the x-ray, so I will post an update soon. Prayers please that she doesn't have to be admitted!

My prayers are on the way.

Yeah, the trip should be fun, but I wish Nancy could come, too.

My brother and I are planning to try some interior fiberglass work to customize the gauge placement. It should be interesting!

The big corporate visit is Wednesday and Thursday. Hopefully, we'll all survive it. :wink:

No, he didn't! I'll have to tease him about that. But he did take me there for dinner once, after I had moved out.

I got it at Walmart. It is a Muk Luks tassel hat.

They have them at Target, too. But I wanted fuscia, at Wally World was the only place that had my color.

Personally, I like xmas's name better!

Happy Monday everyone! Well it is a happy Monday for me, I am off today to spend it with my sweetie and celebrate her birthday at Benihana a couple of days early. We are members of their birthday club and she will basically eat for free today. The only problem we can only use the coupon from Monday thru Thursday, that's why I had to take a day off for it. We used to be able to use it on Saturday but they changed it. I hope everybody has a great day and week!
