I saw this on Darlene Love's page. I have always believed in enjoying the little things in life! I loved the way this is worded.

Another crazy weather day here. Woke to hear it pouring rain. School buses cancelled, all country schools closed. It has stopped for now, but this is moving in later....

SNOW SQUALL WATCH FOR Stratford and southren Perth County

Persons in or near this area should be on the lookout for adverse weather conditions and take necessary safety precautions. Watch for updated statements.

I just hope it waits until I get home from work tonight!

I just got a call from NoFrills for a second interview!!!

It would be nice to get this job as then I would not have to go out of town any more for work.

Got a glimpse of snow today... it was in the mid 40s and sunny so we walked to the park and got about 1/2 way befre it started sleeting on us! Then raining/snow.. blah. Nice day to just snuggle inside with the kids! I'm going to put a Christmas show on later with them :)

hi everyone...feeling tired...dinner is being prepared and kid´s tv is on...not much to do today...

Good luck! I hope it works out for you!!

Looky how close we are to the 100 window for the Season!!!

Good Morning, my Friends.

Well, SINGLE DIGITS are here!
(Single digits to our next Milestone, that is.)
Indeed.
Nine short days from today will see the grand opening of the 300-day Christmas Day window and the commencement of a double-200's count.
(Hardly seems possible, and yet.......)

Days to the Season: 267
Days to Christmas Day: 309

A bit warmer yesterday.
Should be even warmer today, with the chance of rain.
We stand at 39 degrees here, currently.

You all have a Tea-Totally Terrific Tuesday Today, OK?

Hilarious!

Here's a story for you Binger! The rest of you will enjoy this one too!

Right now on our local news it was reported that a lady got arrested for calling 911 because she wanted someone to bring her some cigarettes.

Right after that the traffic reporter walked up to the weather guy with an an empty coffee pot in hand and said, "Call 911, we need more coffee"!

Oh, Brent, so sorry about the job. I am sure you would have been great. Excellent news about your grandmother. Hope she continues to improve!

Good morning everyone.

I hope everyone had a great long weekend... If you were lucky enough to have Monday off - that is. I was not scheduled to have Monday off, however, two very close friends were getting married on Sunday afternoon/evening. It was a wonderful ceremony and reception. I could not be happier for them! In preparation for a late night, I took yesterday off. As mentioned, it was Family Day in Ontario, but federal government employees do not get Family Day off, so I had to call in.

Anyway, sorry for my disappearance for a week or so. Bad news is that I didn't get the full time position. Good news is that my grandmother is now out of the hospital and feeling better. It did not seem to be going well for a few days, but she pulled through and returned to her seniors' home.

It's great to see the countdown to 300 is in single digits! There are less than 10 days until the end of February. March is coming up quick! Well, have a great Tuesday, everyone! The 'Pines is open tomorrow... I can only wonder the plans of Carl. That camel is probably scratching his head and pondering how to celebrate being between holidays and (somewhat) between seasons!

It was overcast and COLD earlier this morning. Now is is sunny and COLD with a breeze that makes it feel colder! Just put in the last load of laundry and will finish that up in a little over an hour. Then what to do??? I guess I could do dishes for someone. Hmmm? That would give CAH a day off!

It's less than a month to St. Patrick's Day. Carl is probably dreaming up green treats.

I'm sure he'll start preparing some for everyone soon!

Hey Brent,
Glad that your Grandmother is out of the hospital. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.
Sorry about the job. There must be something bigger & better around the corner! =]

Thank you! I'm quite happy that she's OK for now. It's disappointing that I couldn't be around her, but some members of my family stepped up their visiting time. I can only hope that they continue to visit as much as they can.

I'm hoping so. I would really enjoy some security!
