I honestly feel that support system, MC!

Hoping with all my heart that your scan is clean ... but whatever may happen, you're ahead of the curve, 'cause your support system is here and ready for action. Keep strong.

We don't like to leave our Baby, but my former classroom aide is our cat-sitter. She loves cats, and she has five of her own. I always tell her she is one cat away from being the crazy cat lady!!! Our cat does not like people, but she loves my aide, so we feel very comfortable leaving Baby with her!

Awwww.....I know how you feel !! I love kitties every bit as much as I love canines !! They are both so different but both very loving and I would have more of each if I could afford it....xo

Oh, MC, go for it NOW!!!

We'll be watching for it!

I've been such a lazy blogger. I've had a blog post in the back of my head for the better part of three years that I haven't drafted YET. By the time I get through the workday and things that have to be done, I don't have enough mental energy left to write the way I feel it should be done. In the back of my head I think that when I'm retired, I'll blog or write some other way, but who knows.

Oh, WOW! That is a good wipe-out!

...Wayne and I had a wonderful day yesterday. We took the bikes to the lake for the first time. We have an odometer hooked up to the bike and rode 8 miles. We stopped here and there for a bite to eat, drink, relax, look at ducks and just soak up the atmosphere. My legs held up just fine, no soreness or anything but we both were wiped out afterward. It was a good day and can't wait to do it again!

I was trying to make every attempt to catch up on all the post but looking at the clock I am running out of time and got to get going. I am going to make Wayne and I some green eggs for St. Paddy's Day!

Have a Merry Day my Christmas Friends!!!

Lloyd Nolan, omg! I just received my Topper DVDs and can hardly wait to view them!

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to all! Not much going on around here today---I'm kinda wiped out from yesterday and last week, so I'm trying to take it easy. I think we'll watch a Michael Shayne mystery movie for St. Patty's. (That's Lloyd Nolan playing a cocky Irish-American hard-boiled detective.)

I know this is nothing new, but cherish the moments!

Sitting here with DS sitting beside me...this is the first time in months, trying to sit with my laptop and he doesn't mind and he isn't trying to steal it from it. I can tell he is maturing! I am proud of him! I think I will be able to check in more with you guys and be a mom too! Haha :hello:

Ditto is the only word I can think of right now, but it is SO apropo!!!

Sadly, it CAN kill friendships ... It's one hard way to find out who your true friends are. Several of my (now former) friends stopped calling, returning calls, and answering letters during my two bouts with the beast. The same thing happened to my mom years before when she was fighting it. It was before the Internet and personal computers were in wide use, so it was a lonely and painful experience. It's a great blessing to have a husband and friends now who wouldn't withdraw if there's ever a recurrence. I got through those times only through the grace of God.

I apologize for the "outburst," but just had to come out with it. I'm just so grateful that you are not the type to quietly disappear when support is needed. Yes, it's awkward and painful to be around someone with cancer and not know what to say or how to help. But at least you can BE there. Just that much is powerful medicine.

Good Evening, Christmas family

It has been a very chilly and gray day here but a good day, kind of. I have yet another "GI" thing going on. It seems I always have this type of thing happening. I am sure I will feel better eventually.

I plan on watching Jesus Christ Superstar later. It is one of my favorite movies about Jesus. It is dated and and so "60's" but I really love it. IMHO Carl Anderson (Judas) was one of the BEST singers ever.

I hope everyone has a very pleasant and Christmassy evening !!

Made - Thinking of and praying for your little niece and her scopes on Tuesday. I have never had an upper scope but I had the other one and I can honestly tell you the prep is the worst part. She will not feel any pain because she will probably be asleep. xo

Take care, everyone. Big ((((HUGS)))) for all ESPECIALLY:
