Good Morning, MMC!!

It's a beautiful Saturday morning here, still quite cool, but calm & sunny.

I'm having my morning coffee, and watching ID. I'm so addicted to this channel.

What are your plans for the day?

I am going to meet my sister Shannon, and niece Alyssa, in Arcadia, Wisconsin for lunch. That's approximately halfway between Eau Claire & LaCrosse. Only an hour's drive.

Arcadia is known for being the headquarters of Ashley Furniture. I love that place! When we were ready to buy a kitchen table, about 8 years ago in Vegas, we went to the Ashley Furniture Homestore there. We still have it & love it! Our friends were trying to talk us into selling it to them before we moved.

So, does anybody need any new furniture? I think that we'll eat @ Ashley's pub. I didn't even know they had one. But, My sister has a co-worker who says that their restaurant had the best food in town. Kind of funny. This is small town USA, afterall.

Made, are you still good with your recliners?! ;)

Anyways, I hope you all have a fabulous day!!

Have fun with your sister and niece, snowflake! I have to work a few hours today and if I get back in time, I will listen to the Greasy Skillet and work on a crochet project.

Hello everyone. Happy Dog says good morning, too!

Hope every one has a happy Saturday. Not sure what we're doing today, I just know it's not work so I'm happy!

Talk to y'all later.

Oh My Gosh !!! I Love Happy !!! I just want to give (((((Hugs)))) !! What a sweet face xo

Ok, just so you know what my idea of a god movie is.....it goes like this...

Small, casual conversation like "Hi, how are you?" Followed by a kind reply of "I'm fine, but you are a spy, bad guy, terrorist with an evil idea like holding the President hostage....and I'm about to start shooting at you."

This conversation is followed by an hour of shooting, explosions, crashes, and fights. Then there is a 15 minutes conversation where everyone laughs or someone is captured and interrogated, followed by another hour of shooting, explosions, crashes, and fights. It all concludes with a big kiss at the end (or a handshake).

If this is your kind of movie, it is awesome! I really enjoyed it....and so did Wifey. The only difference in my favorite movie and her favorite movie is that is has to have a good looking leading man like me (or Gerard Butler, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Daniel Craig, etc).

Gerard Butler is in this movie? It has to be good then!

Good Morning MMC!!! It's going to be a beautiful day here with a high in the mid 40's. Then winter arrives late tonight. It looks like we are still on track for 6 to 10 inches of snow by Monday morning. Booo!!! All of the talk about convention last night led to me having an awesome dream. Instead of going to Louisville or Detroit, I convinced all of you to just fly here to Indianapolis. That way we were in between Santa Claus, Indiana and Bronners. Then Instead of renting hotel rooms, all of you stayed here at my apartment building since all of my neighbors have spare bedrooms and air mattresses. It was like a giant sleep over that involved setting up a TV in the yard for Christmas movies and Caroling in the middle of summer. Then we went out and rented a couple of passenger vans and made an overnight trip to Santa Claus, IN. Then we came back here for a few days show I could show you around town. Then we made another overnight trip up to Bronner's and camped out in tents in Meceka's front yard. It was a blast and a little weird. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

I like this dream! I would put it right up there with the one I had the other night in which Gerard Butler was my singing banker. :D

Good morning, MMC!

Have a MERRY day!

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

We're running around, getting ready to go to Savannah. I hope I can find the plastic worms I'm looking for at Bass Pro Shops...Zoom June Bug Trick Worm! Best bass worms made!

I hate that Lulu will be here all alone all day. We'll have to bring her a treat.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Awwww...Oh Brad if I were there I would be glad to keep Lulu company if you would let me !!!! xo

I would love to meet everyone !! But if it ever comes to pass, I would probably need to hitch a ride to wherever from my hotel because driving is one of the things I have some fear about.....

I feel that way about driving in places where I've never driven before.

I love this dream !!! I really wish we could all meet !!! xo I would be a little big of a hindrance though, because I would need to ride with someone here and there since driving is one of the things that scares me xo

Oooh, crochet! I've lost the knack of watching TV without working on some crochet. I recently started working on an afghan that combines granny squares and ripples---the granny squares (turned sideways, diamond-wise) form the foundation for the ripples.

Do you ever look at afghan patterns and try to figure out if they'd work in Christmas colors? cheesy

I'm ashamed of myself for being lazy today. I should be going through closets and storage areas rooting out stuff that should be thrown away so I can reclaim the space. Instead, I'm sitting here with a mug of tea visiting with you, then I'm inclined to head for the sofa to do some crochet after I log off. No big plans this weekend, and ... believe it or not ... neither of us has office or freelance work! It's a really truly weekend! Maybe that's why I'm feeling lazy.

We just had a hail storm,I checked my car since it was not in the car park and it did not have any dents...we did not loose power either but Kylee is scared to death, snowball even acted a little shook up we picked up an inch of rain in like 20 minutes. Anyways we were sleeping in right before this happened like 30 minutes ago. I hope everyone is having a great sat,you guys up north are probably getting snow and freezing rain so be careful this weekend. I think it's suppose to be nasty just everywhere except the west!!!

Poor Babies....I hope Snowball is okay !! xo

That sounds like an interesting pattern you are working. I wouldn't be able to work on something that complicated and watch television, too. I do look at patterns and try to figure out how they were look using forest green and burgundy - usually can't go wrong with those two colors. Have a MERRY day, Merry!

You'd have rides. You KNOW you'd have rides. If everyone's pretty much staying in the same hotel, it's easy to hook up with someone who's going to the same event, or out to lunch or dinner or whatever. Or we could get a charter bus. That's it! Everybody on a bus, singing carols as we go from place to place!
