Thanks CAH. Yes, I saw that Mr. Griffiths had passed. I think he was probably a really nice man. He could not have been like the character he played in Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe seems to have really liked him a lot. He wasn't that old either, just 65......xo

Thank you, I thought it was strange also when my wife started teaching that there was school on Good Friday here, when I went to school in this town and the others in this state we always had the day off. I believe it started when a family of a different religion complained about there being no school on a religious day, when kids had to go to school on Yom Kippur, and other holidays. It makes sense, if they don't go to school for religious reasons, it will not be held against them.

Happy Good Friday everyone. It is so neat to think that, at the cross, Jesus paid our sin debt in full once and for all. Then on Easter Sunday we get to celebrate His resurrection and look forward to His return. Awesome stuff!

It is snowing a here. It is too warm to lay but it is still beauitiful coming down. We are soon leaving to drive down to spend Easter weekend with my parents.

I've been thinking about selling them recently as well as my old comic books, baseball cards and possible my Lp's (about 2,000 of them). Just to unload them and finially start letting go of all of the stuff I have collected over the years. And a little extra jingle in my pocket never hurts....

I got rid of 95% of my baseball cards 6-7 years ago :sad: but they were just sitting around, I kept my favorites, and most valuable though. I had a California Raisins figure collection also.

I feel the very same way Mgramsey. I am always just so sad on Good Friday. I have been talking to Him all day. I have also been trying to show my love for Him by changing my siggie so often. I can't believe (although I do) that He did such a wonderful thing for me.....xo

I am sitting here watching a classic...The old Andy Griffith show in black and white. I must be getting old....The series was so simple yet so enjoyable and Barney was hilarious !!

I just bought a book called "Have Yourself a Movie Little Christmas" it is a good book of reviews on Christmas movies, and some movies I never thought were Christmas movies. It has made me want to see some more movies.
