Charlie Brown Easter special was just on, loved the part where they walk into the store and see a big Christmas display with a sign saying how many days until Christmas! LOL

I don't have time to read anything but just wanted to stop by to say...

Happy Easter!!!

Wayne and I had a great day yesterday. We packed up a lunch and took the bikes to the lake. We took a very slow ride with lots of breaks since I was still feeling weak from being sick. We stopped to have lunch and rode around some more. We have an odometer on the bikes and got in 4 miles yesterday.

Today my job is closed but we get to visit the bunnies, chicks, ducks and other critters to feed them all for Easter! Then Wayne and I are door greeters at church today then sit back and enjoy the sermon!

I hope you all have a blessed day!!!

Happy Easter, y'all!!

Late for church, as usual! Gotta run! Have a great day! cheesy

Happy Easter, friends!

Foggy, here. There is a small shower moving in that will last a couple of hours, but after that we are in the mid 60's with sunshine. Today's schedule includes picking up the house, cleaning up Wifey's vehicle, eating at my Mom's, and other Easter festivities. Yesterday, we ate at Cracker Barrel and that was my first time to eat there. Not bad. Today, we will have Mom's crockpot ribs, which I think are the best.

I woke up this morning at 5:30 for some reason and I'm feeling the need to take a nap. I'm gonna go lay down and watch a little Sportscenter and see what happens from there.

Have a Blessed Easter Day!

Good food there, but it is all so heavy. cheesy

You know, we talk about how at Christmas we get these feelings of being transported to another place and time...The Ten Commandments does that to me, also. I can remember watching this movie for years! There were a few years we watched it at my Nanny and Papa's house....there were years we watched it at home....and there hasn't been a year that I have been out of their house that I have missed it. This is as much a tradition to me as Christmas Eve....

Good times.

I have lots of memories of watching that movie with my family, too, esp. my dad.

Happy Easter!!

I'll pass on grits faster than Crown falls asleep.....but if you want....I can get some for us to throw at unsuspecting people at the Pines...

Tell you what, all this talk of food has me hungry. Anyone cooking breakfast?

I still have yet to see that movie. I may not be much of a religious person, but I absolutely love religious history. Fact, like true stories of the people from the bible or how something came to be, or fiction like The DaVinci Code or Unholy Night. It just really piques my interest.

I haven't read "The Da Vinci Code," but was available as a free Kindle download for a short time in March, so I downloaded it. Should be a good vacation read---it was a very popular book.

One of our local stations always showed "Harvey" for Easter ... I have to admit rather sheepishly that "Harvey" is my traditional Easter movie.

Back from church, what an amazing service! There were 5 people baptized in the first service.

Home now and enjoying some me time.
Later I will start supper, ham, scalloped potatoes and cauliflower.
and of course the ever popular study the codes!
