I feel fine - just got the cough from he ll but I hear that whooping cough does that to you (honestly, whooping cough at my age?!!!!!)

Proud, umm sure. (I really am) cheesy He is a free spirit, he doesn't take crap from anyone. He already has a sort of #### the man type of attitude, and he is very stubborn. That is not me, the mini me part is more looks and sense of humor. I love that little monkey, and we already warned his teachers next year.

Well, that's good!! He may need to tone it down a bit in school, but at least he's confident & won't be pushed around

Long night at work, we have a store wide inventory tomorrow, so I had to do a lot more prepping than I do for my monthly one. It was probably the easiest set up I have ever had. So that leaves me on the precipice of my vacation just an 8 hour shift to go. Tomorrow will probably be a very long day just because of the anticipation. I should probably head to bed, but all the talk of food has made me think I need a snack first. cheesy

Hey all!

It's now 1/4 to 10 and with a glass of wine, I'm toasting absent friends.

Got the next two days off - can you say "long weekend"??!!!!!!!

Got a chest x-ray tomorrow (still got left-over whooping cough) so they're checking that out just because it's been going on since February

Wednesday and it's after 5! Ya-hoooo, were officially over the hump....

I went to an orthopaedic surgeon to get my results from an MRI I had taken of my knee last week. He confirmed to me that the pain that I have been having in my knee for the past 6 months (I did it pushing a 12,000 watt generator around the house, in the rain, during Hurricane Sandy - now, not so smart of an idea...), was from a torn Meniscus. That means surgery on April 22nd.
The surgeon said the MRI showed a torn meniscus, some floaters and some arthritis, nice... He said he'll go in there and clean it out while he's there; roto-roter??? :? I'm not even 50 yet and it's already starting....lol

The thunder and lightening have stopped. I finally got the dogs to settle down. Just took this picture of Maggie. I have a Christmas blankie on my bed that the dogs sleep on. She burrowed underneath it and fell asleep. So I tucked her in and she's sleeping like a baby.
