Christmas Countdown - 2013

Good morning. I was just looking up our weather in Utah and I as trying to figure out how to post our weather forecast here..but anyways it's suppose to snow there tomorrow night only a 30 percent chance but late April!! lows all week in the 30's highs in the 60's. I don't think I am going to have to wait all the way until November/December for some cold temps! Here in Ga it is 48F and I was thinking it won't be back in the 40's here until October possibly November. I just can't wait. My new elevation is 4800Ft above sea level opposed to 233 ft here. so We will be way up high compared to now.
My sister is here until tomorrow morning we had a very short visit but it did pep me up because it has been such a weird 2 weeks in my life. It's always good to be around family at times like this. I guess the next time we will all be together will be in November. I am not going to be taking a normal summer vacation this year because of the move and all,plus I like to save it all for Fall and winter/Christmas. This morning we are going to church then coming home to eat and really nothing else planned,just trying to recharge for tomorrow. Have a good day everyone!

We were told that Friday's snow should be the last of the season, lol. Forecasted for Monday?? 6 inches of snow!!!! ❄❄❄❄

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!
Well, the band played last night, but I wasn't there. Nancy had fainted earlier in the day while shopping. The EMT said he couldn't find anything wrong, and she came home with her sister. Later, she said she was planning to come to the park to listen to us, so Jacob and I went on to set up equipment. Just when I got there, Nancy called saying she felt really bad. So, I apologized to the guys and went home to take her to the hospital.
She was really dehydrated with low potassium. He let her come home, and she feels better today. I'll keep a close eye on her for a few days, though.

this is like the winter that never ends...down here it was not much of a winter,but what we got did not start until Feb!! Can't wait to see what the winter of 2013-14 will be like! I say bring on the snow.lol:hi:

Hello everyone!
I am moving slow this morning. The girls stayed out late last night. I'm drinkng my coffee and listening to the local news. Its going to be sunny today with temperatures in the lower 50's. I need to get moving and walk the dogs soon. Two of my girls have to work for a few hours. I'm going to take my youngest out to get some job applications. She's not crazy about the job she has now and is hoping to get in somewhere else. And my husband will working in the house. Hoping he finishes putting up the sheetrock in the kitchen today.

I love the snow, I truly missed it.
Living in Las Vegas for 10 years only gave me two seasons, a long, hot summer & a winter...without snow.
I'm so excited for four seasons once again, and just don't want to miss out on spring.
But, that being sad, this snow is beautiful!!! ❄
