Hey everyone! Sorry I am such a slacker on here. It seems I pop in and take off again.

Yesterday was a beautiful day! Wayne and I took a bike ride around the lake again. It was really nice.

My mom was having trouble using crutches so my dad and I were going to head to some thrift stores to try and find a walker for her since she only needs it until she heals, no need for a brand new one. As he left the house there was a garage sale on his street with a walker for sale. It was in perfect condition for 1 buck!!! My mother is HATING not being able to get around on her own. She is told to keep her ankle elevated and stay in bed until she sees the doctor but she keeps hopping all over the house and plans to get out today. There is just no keeping her down at all, she has so much energy! With her positive attitude she will heal quickly. She is still in some pain but cannot wait to get back at the gym. Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers!

I gotta run, busy busy busy today. They are keeping us extra busy at work. All the gardeners are out planting and they are buying up all of our stuff at work! So today is church then work.

Have a blessed day everyone!

Nice find on the walker. I hope she heals quickly.

Good morning, MMC family! How are you all doing? All is well here. Glad it's still the weekend, even though it will soon be over.

What is new with you all? Not too much going on here, as far as news. We took the kids up to Erie, Pa, to an indoor water park. They had a ton of fun, but it was sure a drive. It's gearing them up for the very long drive, that we will have in June, when we go Myrtle Beach.

What is everyone's plans for today? DH is working, so the kids and I are just hanging out at the house. There preschool/daycare was having a party at a local bowling alley, where they could go bowling for a few hours, but I decided not to take them. It would be okay just taking one of them, but taking both, especially DS, it would be out of control. If I turn my head for one second, he is gone and he just runs around - it's his age! Some people who don't have kids don't get it and look at me like I'm crazy and say to me, "It's your kids, you can't take them places and take care of your own kids?" Yes, I can, but this is totally different. It's somewhere where both of my kids have never been and with lots of people, plus as I said, my son is at that busy stage and just wants to run, run, run. A lot of people don't get it, but oh well. We will stay home, play outside here later this afternoon, and the kids want to blow bubbles too. Sorry for the rant! Haha

This evening, a couple of my girlfriends from work and I are going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner, to celebrate my birthday. It will be fun. We can't stay out too late though, since two of us work tonight. I am just glad we get to go.

Well, I am off to read some of the posts here and then I have some laundry to do from the past couple of days. Talk to you guys later on. Praying and thinking of you all, plus your families and furbabies! God Bless and keep smiling!

Have fun at the Texas Roadhouse, maybe they will make you "Saddle Up" like they did for my son on his birthday.

Good morning, Christmas family!

Great night at my brother and sister in-laws last night. We watched the race (which was boring) and sit around and talked. They have a son who is 13 and is gifted in size and he loves to talk football with me...which I love to talk about. So between the food, the race, the laughing, and the talking about football....it was a great night.

Today, I'm going to sit here and drink coffee for the next few hours, then I'm going to go to work. After work, more nursery time and then I'm cooking supper for my lovely wife. She doesn't know it, but this is the day that we (just me and her) celebrate her becoming Dr. Wifey in 13 days....DR.!!!!!

So, I'm off....have a great day and I will catch y'all tonight!

Congrats to Dr. Wifey!!!!

Good morning,

A day off with no plans here!!!! That will be changing soon, because it is almost time to cut the grass for the first time in 2013, I HATE yard work. 6 months of mowing, raking, weeding, BLEEECCCCHHH!!! Come on October!!!! cheesy
I think I will sit back with the Hallmark Dream book and dream what the ornaments will look like on my tree.

Enjoy your Sunday!!!

I had the Lear here in Yreka. I fell asleep after our dinner meeting and didn't see your post until this morning! Sorry, Made!

Of course!!!!! Traffic around Chicago was at a stand still though!!!!!!! I tried calling the emergency line for the lear but it was busy.

So which one of you, was using the lear tonight???

glad you were able to find a walker for you mom, but really she should listen to her doctor. When LittleCS broke her ankle the doc warned that she had to stay off it completely for the first while or she could move the bones out of position again and end up with surgery.
Praying all goes well, have fun at work!

Good morning!
Looks like its going to be another nice day, we are going to have lots of sun with temperatures in the mid 60's. I tried to start my laundry this morning but there is something wrong with the washing machine, I hope my husband can fix it today. Typical Sunday here, the girls have work and my hubby has plenty to do around the house. Not sure what I'm going to do. I may do a little spring shopping for myself. And I think I will pick up some stuffed shells for dinner while I am out.
I hope everyone has a happy Sunday!!!
hope you get that machine fixed, pounding clothes on a rock by the river is a lot of work!

bing the mother of a boy I understand, with mine I would put him in a shopping cart as soon as we arrived at a store or he would just vanish (called him little Houdini!) I had one of those harnesses for him when we went for walk, only way to keep him safe.

Have fun with your girls night out!

I just went back and read some posts from last year's thread....

Lovemas!!!!!

Sorry....just had to get that out...

Good morning MMC! How's it?

Tomorrow I'm fixing my Mama her birthday dinner. I found an awesome cake on Pinterest. Well, I guess it's a cake? It's made of ice cream sandwiches, caramel, cool whip, & peanut butter cup. NO BAKING, yaay! My Mama loves ice cream & peanut butter so it was an obvious choice.

Enjoy yourselves! Happy Birthday to mama!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a rainy morning here but it's supposed to clear up this afternoon. So I might get to sit out on the porch for a while tonight. I'm still wore out from helping with the girl scout event yesterday so I don't see much happening up until that point. Just laying around on the couch and watching some tv. I say that, but I'm sure something will come up. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!
yes girl scouts can be tiring, I remember camping with them a few summers when my girls were members. LOL
Have a nice relaxing time today!

Thanks! I am afraid of that, though! I am sure if they tell them it's my birthday, I will have to! Happy belated Anniversary to you and your wife! Hope you enjoyed it!

I will send DH to your house - he used to have a lawn business and cut 40 yards a week, plus did other types of landscaping. He quit it once we had kids. Now he just has two other part time jobs...haha. He wishes he could be outside everyday, all summer!

Thanks, Star! Yes, he is one that if I turn my head for a minute, he is gone. He's very curious...
