Is it the "Song of the South" Disney film? I know today, in America at least, Disney does not offer this film. I'm not sure, but as a child in the 80s I distinctly remember seeing this movie, but I'm not sure how I would have!

Kandice and I were watching Simon´s Cat about two hours ago.....I mentioned to her that Louanne´s loved Simon´s Cat.....she then went to the bathroom and said Louanne, Grandpa....we are watching Simon´s Cat now...come watch it with us........ she is such a sweetheart and I am sure my grandpa and Louanne were indeed watching the dvd with us

I am finally getting around to listening to some of the Merry podcasts as I finish up some final school assignments on the computer. It's great to hear some of your voices! It's wonderful.

Yes, it's based on the Uncle Remus stories. Because it portrays slaves in a sentimental light, Disney considers it too controversial to show in theaters or to sell DVDs of it today. It's possible to find a DVD through non-commercial sources, though. You could have seen it in the 1980s, because it was re-released in 1980 and 1986, according to Wikipedia. I thought it was inoffensive, myself, but I can understand how some could take offense to it.

Goooood Sunday morning everyone!!! It's cold here going into late spring and our temps are in the 40's this morning! It feels great and I am enjoying it because later this month we will probably be in the 90's! It's been a great weekend with my buddy here from out of town and he will be leaving today but we are going to have a cookout before he leaves. I already have some boneless ribs thawing out! I also noticed it's the 5th of May which means today marks one month since we lost Louann! It has gone by so fast and yet I almost still wait to se one of her posts show up..I still have a hard time accepting that although she is gone from earth I know she is in heaven looking down on us and not wanting us to be sad!! So with that I hope everyone has a great morning!

got up at around 7;30...hda some breakfast with Kandice and did some work in the house....will do a little more....and then head outside to enjoy the sunny sunday
not amused that the weekend is almost over....I don´t like Sundays because of that....there´s hardly anything to do.....stores are closed...just restaurants and stuff like that....
