Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a congratulations lunch yesterday for Nancy's niece who just graduated college. After that, I saw Iron Man with Jacob & my brother. It was pretty good, but not as good as I thought it would be.

Today, we have early church with my mom, regularly scheduled church with Nancy's mom, lunch with Nancy's mom, then supper with my mom. Busy, busy, busy!

Well, it's been a fun and not so fun weekend (sick kids and some things like that) but things are getting better. On the fun side, my wife graduated with her Master's and we were all at least able to attend, so that was great! I'm very proud of her.

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to give a warning that if you don't see me posting for months and months that everything is all good on my end. I am very busy with classes again. Once I graduate in a couple of months then it will be time to look for a job that fits my degree. I hope to pop in here and there! I don't use social media so the best way to keep in touch is through PM. I will check that from time to time when I login. I barely have time to make a post let alone read everyone else's. It's not even worth it to me to post if I can't see/comment what's going on with everyone else! Just wanted to explain what's going on if I vanish!

You and your families have all been in my thoughts! Hope everyone is doing well! I will post again whenever I get the chance!

Happy Mother's Day to all!!!!!

Well, last night we partied....kinda. There was about 25 of us that went out to eat. After a meal, everyone left and there were two other couples who we are great friends with and we just sit there and talked. Four hours later, we finally left (I almost ate twice). Quick trip to Starbucks and dr. wifey and I found ourselves at home....and we just relaxed. It was the perfect culmination to a day that has been around 4 years in the making. It was funny...she graduates last night and she comes home...takes a break...and started studying. There is something about people that I admire who have this great work ethic. She has it. Proud of her....

sitting on the deck watching the Martins.....yall should see them swooping and swarming...beautiful. Kinda chilly, but coffee and a hoodie makes everything better.

I'm off! Things to do and people to see....have a great one!

Happy Anniversary, HMG. It is so good to see the number of us who have high numbers on anniversaries! Hmmm. I just wonder if that's true of all, or almost all, people who love Christmas as much as we do? That might be a good research question! So sorry about your daughter's phone. Hopefully dinner out with your husband will make your day go better!

Good morning!
It is going to rain for most of the day with a high of 65 degrees.
All of the girls have work today. My two oldest will drive themselves, but I will be driving my youngest back and forth to Haagen Dazs. When I picked her up from work last night she was crying because she had just dropped her Iphone and shattered the glass. Grrrrr. Her sister just did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. At least I know where to go to have it fixed. I would like to drop it off this morning and get that over with. I also need to food shop and get to the rehab center to visit my father.
Oh and today is my 23rd wedding anniversary.We were just a couple of kids when we got together, can't believe how fast the time flies by. My hubby had to go in to work today, but I'm hoping we can at least find the time to go out to dinner tonight.

This is one of those "if you do not like the weather, wait a minute, it will change!" days. We have had fog, rain, snow, ice rain, more rain, some sun and now a mix of rain and snow and it is not even noon yet!
Oh wait, now it is turning into just snow.

You are lucky that your brother can help with the landscaping. Is there anything that you would be able to help him with? Bradmac is lucky to have his brother to help him with his car.

Good morning everyone in my MMC life... We have been having thunderstorms and rain here since late last night and it's humid and threating to rain again, but it's supposed to cool down later tonight.

I awoke to the sound of ladders being put up against the side of my house this morning. We had signed a contract for a contractor to remove and put a new crown on the top of my fireplace about a month ago and they didn't call to say they would be here this morning, glad I decided to be at the house here this morning....

We decided to put our house of 14 years up for sale! So, we have had contractors here for the past two weeks working on the back deck and addition, we are having new granite countertops installed, making sure the fireplace is in tip top shape and we are landscaping our yard as well (IE, my brother and his company). So as they say, we are turning and burning....

We are looking for a house as well, so we are doing that while also looking to sell my grandfathers house to boot and we will have him move in with us so that we (I) can continue to take care of his needs...

As a quote in Frosty the Snowman, "Busy, Busy, Busy...." lol....

Today, Lisa is working and so I'm going to push the mending knee a bit and try to start packing some things up in the garage and take them to storage myself. Yes, I foresee an Aleeve later on ha-ha...
