the show is awesome....even tho it is a serious show....it has very funny moments....just like NCIS

I like the family dynamic :)

Added bonus, I love Angie Harmon. She was one of my favorites in Law & Order, too.

The cool part of it is, the owner is actually starting production on a line of guitars that he's named after his mom, wife, aunt, etc. He's also producing amplifiers that he's naming after the men in his family. I'm supposed to get a tour of the factory this summer.

He's the little brother to my best friend in HS who played in the band with me for 20 years. Nice to know people who know people!

That's really cool, Brad!!

OMG!!! Now my neighbors granddaughter is dragging me into her drama. Someone make it stop!!!!!!

Okay, now that I've got that out. I'm going to run somewhere for dinner and then I'll be back to get caught up.

We got our first taste of ObamaCare yesterday. Medicare says mom was using too many refills on her wound pump and refused to allow any additional supplies this week. With no refills for the pump, the home health nurse had to remove the pump and mom started bleeding heavily. The nurse was forced to called an ambulance for the uncontrolled bleeding. Mom spent all day at the hospital and had to have blood transfusions. She has to go back to her surgeon today to have the wound pump put back in. The surgeon says he will attempt to reason with Medicare but is not optimistic. Wonder if Medicare will realize that an ambulance ride, emergency visit, blood transfusions, and visit with a surgeon costs more that simple refills for a wound pump.

Keeping her in my prayers.

Good morning and Happy Halfway!!!!

I am afraid I am starting to feel the effects of the bug, I feel lousy, but it is not enough for me to call out of work yet. My wife and JP are home today, we sent LC to preschool since he is back to normal.

I am going to go rest before work, hoping this is a passing thing.

ttyl

Still praying for all of you too.

Sweet!! Have you decided on your new leading lady, yet?!

I think we will stick with Salma Hayek and I'm going to add Jennifer love Hewitt into a few scenes.

Update on my niece- We don't have the official results yet because the test has to be sent to the children's hospital to be read by one of their specialists. The tech did tell my sister what he saw though.

He said that she has 2 heart murmur's and that one of the two holes in your heart that normally close shortly after you're born never closed on her. So her doctor should have the official results tomorrow and then she will be referred on to a Pediatric Cardiologist.

Thanks for the update. I sure hope this isn't something too serious.

What??? Jayish got the same thong as me???? Great. I guess it's back to my old New Kids On The Block one.

I forgot to mention this but a little over a week ago, after my mom fractured her ankle, Wayne and I went by there to drop some stuff off for my mom. When we walked in my dad was watching Elf! I didn't realize this but my dad will watch Christmas movies throughout the year, not as much as I do, but he does enjoy them. A few years ago my dad went with us to an air show in October, I had mentioned I have Dean Martin Christmas CD with me, expecting my dad to laugh it off and say, "no way" but my dad wanted to listen to it. Yay! He is all into those Hallmark movies too that start off the season early! I think he watched way more than I did last Christmas and was constantly calling me to remind me of certain ones coming on that he really liked. =)

The older I get, the more I realize I am not the only Christmas nut in the family. I am at the top of the list but at least there are more that share my passion for it year round.
