We had storms all night long, with loud thunder, heavy rain & hail, 60 mph winds, and lightning. We didn't get much sleep, so it's going to be a long day.

I better make another pot of coffee if I'm going to make it through the morning!

The day is going by so fast! My plans for the night include finishing the book I am currently reading and working a bit on the baby afghan I should have completed a few months ago.

Snowflake - sorry to hear about your noisy night, but glad you are ok! I will be over for a cup of that coffee. I could use it too... or a nap! Ha ha!

My friend Karen & I walked at 5:30 this morning - I got to bed at 12:30...was up at 3:30 with Buster = not enough sleep! BUT we had a cup of coffee in the back yard after our walk & I'm having a cup now. I'll catch up on sleep Monday! :grin:

I'm planning to put our laptops away for the weekend - too many kids coming & going from our house this weekend - we don't need broken computers or viruses from all them games they will want to play on them. HA! So have a great weekend everyone!!

My friend Karen & I walked at 5:30 this morning - I got to bed at 12:30...was up at 3:30 with Buster = not enough sleep! BUT we had a cup of coffee in the back yard after our walk & I'm having a cup now. I'll catch up on sleep Monday! :grin:

I'm planning to put our laptops away for the weekend - too many kids coming & going from our house this weekend - we don't need broken computers or viruses from all them games they will want to play on them. HA! So have a great weekend everyone!!

Nothing too major, just some brush & lots of mud on our patio. Easy clean-up, thanks for thinking of us.
I could wait for the landscapers, but then I'd be waiting forever!

Well my buddy didn't show up. Instead he just called and talked for 2 hours on the phone. Thank god for speaker phones!!! They are also replacing the roof on the apartment building right across the street from me. So I think I'm going to hear the sound of nail guns in my sleep tonight.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

I was able to cut grass yesterday until the rain started. Then I ran out of gas before I could drive the mower under the shelter, so I had to push it across the yard in the rain. At least I got the worst part of the yard cut.

Since I couldn't cut grass, I rode over to Jim's shop. We talked about more changes to the Camaro, including a valve job before we re-install the heads. He says I'll get more power from that...just what I need LOL. It sounds like I'm going to need a rear spoiler that will actually hold the car on the ground instead of just looking like it would!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! Well it looks like we are going to have our warmest day of the year to welcome in summer today. Boo!!!!! I was hoping that it wouldn't be so hot though so I could go out to the county fair which starts tonight. Oh well. It'll just have to wait until next weekend. My plan for the rest of today involves hiding inside away from the heat and the lawn care people. I also have a feeling my buddy is going to show up again today. Hopefully I'm wrong but I doubt it. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
