Good past midnight to you all, Christmas friends!

I just arrived home from being out with my mom and her husband, who are in town for a few days, and Kim, too, of course. I thought I should share that we are going to Tinseltown, Ottawa's year-round Christmas store, tomorrow. Way back in March, I was told that 2013 Christmas fashions will be on display and in stock for July... and Christmas in July. I don't know if he has a special date in mind, but I sure hope there are new items tomorrow!

As always, I will take pictures and return for your viewing pleasure as soon as I can. It will be my mom and Bruce's first experience at the store. I'm excited for them. More so my mom as she is also a big Christmas supporter.

Good Morning!
It is going to be another hot and humid day. We already have temperatures in the lower 80's this morning, it will go up to the 90's. Blah.
I will probably be found inside today with the air conditioner running. I cleaned the house yesterday but I have one more thing I want to do today. I need to clean my daughters closet out. I have been asking her to do it since school ended and she hasn't. I'm not letting her out today until she goes through everything with me. From the way it looks, it is going to take a while.
Today is the last day of my husbands vacation. Unfortunately we don't have any big plans, he has too much work to do in the house. He will be building columns today that will go in between the kitchen and the dining room. I can't stop thinking about the holidays lately. I decorate for Fall Labor day weekend, it's really not that far away. I'm so excited. I am praying this house will be finished.

Thanks Made! Summers lately have been kicking both our butts. This past week was a pretty busy one for me at work because we were so short handed, I had to work a lot of hours. I am getting some much needed rest this weekend. Sheila was feeling terrible last night, she has a cold, and she has to work today, I hope she feels better today.

In cultures and traditions (e.g., cooking), Maryland can have a Southern flavor. I remember when you could get fried chicken in any local restaurant! Not breaded filets, but REAL fried chicken.



Keep cool and rest up. Consider yourself lucky that someone noticed. Where I work, I can feel half-dead, but either it doesn't show or they're too preoccupied to notice.

I think a lot of that has to do with having a woman supervisor, a male supervisor probably wouldn't have said anything.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a warm but dreary day here in Central Indy. Then tomorrow the hear and the humidity arrive. Ugh!!! Not much going on here today. The nascar race was last night so today I think I'm going to watch the Indy Car race. Then I have some stuff to do around the apartment. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!

Good morning, MMC!!

It's a hot & humid day again. So looking forward to FALL!!!

I even started a little Fall corner in my kitchen I love it so much that I may keep it out year round. It makes me that happy!!

What are your plans today?

I need to walk Harlowe, shower, and study.

Adrian will come home soon, unfortunately he didn't get everything finished at his parents, so he'll have to make a trip back soon.

I don't think that accounts for it ... my supervisor is a woman, and so are the two co-workers i work most closely with. I guess I just don't look sick or tired when I'm not feeling well.

I did something to my back last night ... and tomorrow at the office we're moving our desks, furniture, and other stuff to the other end of the building! Bad timing.

Last day of the four-day weekend---no more holidays until Labor Day. Does anyone else get post-Fourth blues? I'll have to schedule a vacation day or two for a break.
