Christmas in July you say? At Ottawa's Tinseltown, it is Christmas every day!
Yep. Today, I stepped into Christmas at Ottawa's magical Christmas emporium known as "Tinseltown." Kim and I made our first visit since March. Accompanying us and making their first visit were my mom and her husband as well as Kim's mom. They all couldn't believe the amount of Christmas in such a small space. Yet again, it was such a wonderful experience. Much like our favourite day of the year, Tinseltown never disappoints.
Upon entry, we were greeted by the holiday sounds of Bing Crosby. Despite being sounded by Christmas decorations, I was instantly imaging that I was sitting by the fire on a cold winter's night all the while staring at the dancing lights of the Christmas Tree. Magical.
Besides the smiles of on our faces, none of us walked out empty handed. Kim and I made a couple purchases, which I will share with you in picture form... and everyone else purchased some very nice specialty ornaments. It's never too early to plan ahead for your 2013 Christmas Tree! Speaking of 2013, only a few of their new items have arrived. I know that a few of these photos will appear to be similar to those that I took a few months ago, but I did my best to find new items to share. The good news? I will return with more photos nearly a month before Crown's annual (and my favourite thread of the year) Christmas Blossoms thread debuts in September. Why is that? Well, because I was informed that their entire 2013 stock should be on display by the end of August/early September. Hooray!
As always, I am happy to share some photos from Tinseltown. I really wish you all could experience it with me... but, most of all, I hope that you have the ability to step into a similar Christmas environment at nearly any time, too.
A quick reminder. I am not on the forum as much as I should be. My current job does not permit it and I really busy! If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message and I will be happy to answer them. However, I do hope to have the opportunity to enjoy your comments and everything else!
Enjoy the photos!
Welcome to Tinseltown - the giant Santa Claus is still taking his list of those that enter. He can do the same for you at your house! ...for only $1500. How does that price sound, Made?!
I was drawn to the back corner. The red Christmas Tree seemed quite interesting.
Note: I apologize for the glare on many of the photos. It was bright and nearly impossible to not have light bouncing all over the place!
